Title: RebelBetting
Post by: Arbusers on August 28, 2011, 06:33:29 PM
It was almost a year ago, when I last tried RebelBetting. This alert service made a huge progress during this year. I was pleasantly surprised. There were times that I couldn’t believe the arbs shown. The mass and the quality of arbs are just amazing. Pinnacle and the Asians are covered perfectly. The arb detector is very sensitive, and it detects and presents even the slightest changes of Asian bookmakers, when they jump from one Asian Handicap offer to another. Experienced arbers know that Asians bookmakers are hiding some AH markets when the volumes are getting extremely high, and they replace them with others for 1-2 seconds. These flash markets will appear in RebelBetting, even if they are not reachable by any arber.
Amazing Cross Market selections.
There are 4 alert services offering the highest speed. ArbExpert, BeatBookies, RebelBetting and SureBetMonitor, offer the same speed more or less. RebelBetting is one step ahead because it offers the Auto Login and the Auto Surf, helping you to save some crucial seconds and pass the queue of the rest of the arbers. Some arbers might think that the Auto Login might limit your accounts earlier than normal, and we had many discussions about this with a number of arbusers. During these 2 weeks of testing, I didn’t have any account limited faster than normal. Of course, if you don’t feel well going to the bookmaker’s page via RebelBetting, you still have the option to do it manually, but this will ruin a great advantage that you have.
RebelBetting guys offer the best Customer Service in the market. There is no chance that you don’t get the right answer fast.
All these things will cost 129 euros per month, or even cheaper if you get a longer subscription. Compare it with BetOnValue, ArbitragePro, or even BeatBookies. Here, it is value.
Now let’s talk about the bad points. They do exsist.
Betfair’s and Betdaq/Betmate’s coverage is not good. Many lay arbs will escape.
The number of bookmakers covered is 45. They cover most of the bookmakers that bonus hunters and arbers are using, but there are still 4-5 good bookmakers to be added. RebelBetting guys are constantly adding bookmakers, so I believe that sooner or later the list will be completed.
This is the absolute weapon in the hands of a pro arber, so newbies might find them selves lost here. I suggest you get this alert service when you are done with the boot camp.
The coverage of Asian bookmakers is very detailed. When there is an extremely volatile market, you will have to place the 1st leg of the arb with the Asians, and the 2nd with the rest of the bookmakers, because Asians might hide the market soon. As a result, you restrain your self taking a small bet with the Asians since you don’t know what bet will be accepted by the the other bookmaker. This might occur minutes before kick off of the game. You don’t have to worry when markets are calmed.

Presence in arbusers: YES but it is better to e-mail them. They reply to e-mails faster than pms.
Verdict: GO.
Who should use it: Every serious arber, bonus hunter/abuser.

Sorry about this. The Nullsoft Installer we use sometimes gets reported as a "false positive" by certain antivirus programs. It's because we download .NET Framework automatically.
Technical details: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/NSIS_False_Positives (http://nsis.sourceforge.net/NSIS_False_Positives)

A few minutes ago, we uploaded a new installer that should NOT give any false virus warnings. http://rebelbetting.com/download (http://rebelbetting.com/download)

It is a good software, but sometimes terribly slow. Sometimes I need to wait up to 3-4 seconds for betting browser to open.
Also when I click "Options" button there is also often delay 1-2 seconds.. please optimise this.

I have a 6-core cpu at 3.2Ghz with 8Gb RAMs and SSD sata 3 disk...
Title: Re: RebelBetting
Post by: RB-Simon on January 25, 2012, 11:45:27 AM
When RebelBetting has been running for a long time inactive (minimized), memory gets paged to disk. When you start using it again, it is sometimes slow because memory needing to be read back from disk. This is how Windows works and we cannot affect that. We can however optimize the memory footprint of RebelBetting further, and we will work on this in the future. Restarting RebelBetting after it's been running for a long time might help, but I doubt you save much time.

Thanks!

We're working on this. They've changed name (and domain) to betvictor.

On another note, today (Monday Jan 30) you might experience some downtime with RebelBetting. We're moving our servers from Sweden to a data center in Germany. This will improve speed and stability for our service and our web site.

We aim for the downtime to be less than one hour, but it might be more. All subscribers will be compensated with at least one extra day (depending on the length of the downtime). A new client version will also be released with some improvements. Check our Facebook page for status updates. http://www.facebook.com/rebelbetting (http://www.facebook.com/rebelbetting)

In some cases the software displays Ice Hockey "arbs" that are not arbs at all because the Bookies rules do not match. For example in KHL some bookies include overitme for ML and some do not. Rebel will display this as an arb with no warnings. Dangerous for the less experienced arber.

I can confirm that I lost 457 pounds on a ice hockey arb that was not a arb.
Traktor Chelyabinsk vs Avangard Omsk, different rules on overtime.

Also a game, 23 Mar 19:30 Football / Germany / Bundesliga / Wolfsburg vs Hamburger
it gave a arb but it was not a arb as the dafabet part was a first half cap not full time.

Title: Re: RebelBetting

Jose, can you please contact us with all the information (what bookmakers and what market you bet on) of the Ice Hockey arb as well as the Football arb?
http://RebelBetting.com/contact (http://RebelBetting.com/contact)

Thanks!

Edit: the hockey OT rules issue was fixed April 10 (your bet was placed March 31), when qbet notified us about this.
We can't find any arb at the moment with dafabet where we get the 1st half odds. If you see this again, please take a screenshot (in the Betting Browser) and send it to us. Thanks!

Title: Re: RebelBetting

Both those two are very quick to limit ... SKYBET usually after LESS THAN FIVE bets!!

There may be other, less limiting bookies, that should come first? ...for example. BET3000, GOALWIN, BETINTERNET (all of which do limit but leave you with a playable staking level of 100 EUR or so .... Boyle and SKy drop you to pennies)

I disagree. I have used Boylesports occasionally over the last few months but my account is still alive. I have used Skybet less frequently and even though they were very quick to exclude me from their loyalty reward scheme they did not limit me. The Rebelbetting  engine uses blusq(888) and Paddy and those books were very fast to limit me.

but after I recheck those it was wrong and rebelbetting software make arbitrage from two completely different match like from MLB Friday, May 11, 2012 combine with Saturday, May 12, 2012
I believe thats not an arb as the game are matched in completely different time.

also for tennis match, willhill have different rules with bet365.
like in this match PM Achleitner vs M Rybarikova, where Achleitner win without match.
on willhill it count as played while on bet365 it count as void

Hope you fix this issue. Thanks

Yeah well the thing that happens are willhill are marked those as complete    :-\

also did you put bets this match yesterday (guadalajara - celta de vigo)
its between pinnacle and ladbrokes. the game are abandoned with score 0-3 within 86min . although the game continue by this morning.
pinnacle mark those as void coz the game didn't start within 12 hours. but ladbrokes choose to carry on and continue with the result from the final game this morning.
is this normal?

was this not excellent news as Pinnacle were best priced on Guadalajara so you got paid out with Laddies and refunded with Pinny?  (I got paid out from smarkets and refunded by Pinny :) )

Unusual situation though - typically any rearrangement would take longer to "get on" -- but this is another area where sportsbooks can vary ... some have a 3-day rule wherease, as you hightlight, Pinny only have 12 hours.

One to be wary of but ultimately it's a rare occurance so don't let it concern you too much! today was a winner, tomorrow it may go against you!

Odds update from 5dimmes are useless, why alert services can't update those odds more quickly. Also, will you add bookies like Mybet, Bet at Home, Sportignbet, Fonbet, 888 soon?
Title: Re: RebelBetting
Post by: Ferret on June 02, 2012, 04:10:57 PM
5dimes (while they are quick to tweak odds) are still a useful inclusion

incidentally, bet at home is already featured.   Of the others, Sportingbet limit down to pennies so quickly that they are of limited value (same argument could be made against 888 and Mybet as well)

For me Bet3000 is one glaring omission.

I just want to mention a bad tactic from rebelbetting.
I used them from September 2011 to November 2012, (14months*100~120 euros=2000+ euros)
In January I bought a trial week 9 euros/week in order to see if it is profitable for me (some books are not in Greece)
I was not sure about the profit, so I bought another trial week 9 euros.
The problem is that the second time, I payed 9 euros, they accepted the payment, they didnt give me the trial week and they do not give back the 9 euros.
They say that this is mentioned in their rules and this is a direct result from abusers like me.

I do not care about the tiny amount of 9 euros, I care about this tactic of confiscation. Like the bookmakers do.

We usually don't discuss our customers publicly, but we feel we need to set the matter straight.

This user didn't just buy two trial weeks, he systematically purchased at least five trial weeks, one after the other, with different usernames and emails.
This is a clear breach of our terms and conditions (http://rebelbetting.com/terms).

2013-01-01: User1
2013-01-08: User2
2013-01-15: User3
2013-01-22: User4
2013-01-30: User5

This kind of abuse (more than 25% of all purchases in fact) is the reason we have decided to remove our 9 EUR trial, which is unfortunate. We will instead offer a 39 EUR subscription for one week (that can be purchased multiple times). Expect this pricing change shortly.
Title: Re: RebelBetting
Post by: voodoo on February 07, 2013, 03:07:33 PM
Firstly, I feel sorry for having a dispute with someone who is advertised here.
If your monthly price was normal I would pay it normally, as I pay arbexpert and betonvalue.
I payed for all the trials you mentioned but I use the service normally as the user4.
I understand that I abused the offer and you decided to take the money. Ok. The books sometimes understand that we abuse their offers and they take our money. I see the same behaviour.

I do not arrange your monthly prices but when arbexpert and surebet cost about 70 euros and you 120 euros (with lower quality I think) I would buy monthly your service only at the right price.
Title: Re: RebelBetting
Post by: qbet on February 07, 2013, 03:44:48 PM
This has absolutely nothing to do with that the behavior of some books to confiscate players funds and I see no reason for you to complain here.
Title: Re: RebelBetting
Post by: Arbusers on February 07, 2013, 03:45:01 PM
First of all ''hats off'' for voodoo's idea to abuse the free trial.

Now some facts:
RebelBetting is not advertising here. The banner that you see has revenue share and there is no paid advertisement from RebelBetting all these years. Therefore, there is no bond between arbusers and RebelBetting in a way that you might think. The same applies with all the other alert services.
From what voodoo is saying, i understand that he accepts the accusation from RB that he abused their offer.
Rebelbetting clearly stated that:
''The discounted Trial Week can only be purchased once per person/IP/email address. Abuse will lead to immediate termination and permanent ban. No refunds will be made if this is abused. We also hold the right to charge your account retroactively for the corresponding amount of the used service if this is abused.
The Provider reserves the right to immediately terminate your use of, or access to, the Service at any time if the Provider decides at its sole discretion that you have breached the Terms and Conditions or you have engaged in conduct that the Provider considers to be inappropriate or unacceptable.''

Voodoo accepted this Term and Condition upon registration, so i believe that RB has every right to terminate everything.
Voodoo, if you don't like the price, you can look elsewhere. An experienced arber like you knows where to find cheaper service. You can comment as long as you want about the price not being right, but you cant abuse their free trial for this reason. I believe that the vast majority of RBs users disagree with you about the price.

Once again, i m not in a mood to fight with anyone.
Hats off for voodoo's idea to abuse this trial, but RB is right.

And you have the nerve to come then and complain about this after abusing their trial. Cheeky bastard indeed. Playing innocent.
Title: Re: RebelBetting
Post by: Thordin on February 07, 2013, 04:35:46 PM
Really i believe the difference in the prices in irrelevant in the end of the month. If you make money arbing +/- 50 euros in one month is like a minor voided bet, or some unlucky odds movement. Its nothing... But this is my opinion.
The fact that they may be oversubscribed is another story. Still works pretty well for me though...
Title: Re: RebelBetting
Post by: voodoo on February 07, 2013, 05:07:32 PM
@qbet
I ''deposited'' 9 euros, they accepted the payment and minutes later they stopped the trial. No refund.
Ok it is stated on their terms, but this money was deposited by me.

@acika
I do not playing innocent, I didnt like the fact that they took the money.
Have you ever take the signup bonuses from the books? Did you like when they confiscated (I HOPE THEY DIDNT) your balance or the bonus winnings or the deposit?

@thordin
I believe they are oversubscribed.

That's all.

Cmon guys....i thought he purpose of this forum was : lets make money...and why not to save money....Spending a lot of years with bonus abusing ,odds movements abusing and talking here about abusing with their trial offer(expacially for a client that payed more than 1 year rebbelbetting ? How much had you won all this years ? If he found another way to save money good for him... So stop thinking...:what a shame that you did that... RB should consider the risk of abusing with offers like all bookies do..... Once again hats off for him...
@vooddoo  Please stop complaining for 9 euro and later when they give proves that they caught you :P you try to open a new discussion...If you think cheaper alert sevices are better just go with them and stop abusing with RB trial mate :P (others got  more expensive trial :P )
I hope RB doesnt remove the trial.... It worths 9 euro each week :D

Oversubsribed? Has RB become saturated with subscribers to the point where it's reached the top of the bell curve and it's own popularity starts to be detrimental to itself and it's subscribers?

What's the tipping point for this one and others in the alert service ecosystem?

I used them from September 2011 to November 2012, (14months*100~120 euros=2000+ euros)
In January I bought a trial week 9 euros/week in order to see if it is profitable for me (some books are not in Greece)

This kind of abuse (more than 25% of all purchases in fact) is the reason we have decided to remove our 9 EUR trial, which is unfortunate. We will instead offer a 39 EUR subscription for one week (that can be purchased multiple times). Expect this pricing change shortly.

you have absolute right about abusing the offer,i did it myself for many  times last 2,3 years.caught about 5 times,no compain about your policy on this matter
but
dear friends,i have not even try to use the service,NOT EVEN  for 9e week, last 6 months,
REASON?
because the service is almost uselless last time,,,no good arbs, only exotic arbsmand if you exclude fast limitibg bookies, almost noth usefull
i would use it again,if you achieve just to offer at least a  20% on regular markets and big leaugues, arbs
,like beatbookies,in order to remain under bookies radar..
also very tired arbs very complicated in exotic games,,,totally useles just to fill up the arb page....
sorry to tell you
just try to come back with something better from todays service, not even worthing for 9e week,,i cant even think about 130 or more per month,,thats a joke...
imop you have good intensions and customer service is great
but thats all,nothing more  :(

I want to repeat my comment from 10 days ago with added emphasis:

It seems to be that many (perhaps even all) of these alert services go through a predictable growth pattern that looks something like a bell curve; at the top of which after upwards for a long period of time they reach a plateau both in terms of value and innovation. After leveling out on this plateau and after a period of mediocrity they inevitably begin to decline. Now I'm wondering if the top of this beel curve also has a strong correlation with these services becoming overly subscribed too... reaching a point where they are too big for there own good?

What do other think?

one trial week  cost 39e?

When you download RebelBetting and create an account, the software will run in Free-mode. This is a great way to try the software for no cost at all.

The Free-mode can be run for as long as you want, and lets you bet on arbs up to 0.6%. (Arbs over 0.6%, Middles and Cross Market arbs are unlocked by subscribing.)
