Hi ayahuasca,

We have released a new version of the client with auto refresh and alerts.

The alerts are currently restricted to the data downloaded by the client. we will extend this further.

Hello Barnstorm

Thanks for your feedback. We are very interested to understand how the sports arbitrage world translates for you in the U.S.

We are very conscious that in the U.S. the number of arbitrage opportunities are somewhat limited by the amount of accessible bookmakers as you have already pointed out.

rational.bet

We can actually do okay from the U.S. given the Bitcoin Sportsbooks.

We have major books like 5Dimes, Bookmaker and BetOnline.

We can get Pinnacle-like odds at Fairlay and Betfair-like odds at BetBTC.

Soft books we can get are WagerWeb and CaribSports, although I already got the boot from Carib as I won too often and too much there and I can't find an Arb Service that does WagerWeb now that BetOnValue dropped them.

I keep looking for Clones of other Euro Books. Would be nice to find a Clone of Bet365, William Hill, Ladbrokes and some others.

We can also get Intertops and Bodog/Bovada.

Thanks!

Hello ! We've sent you a longer list of the clones we understand currently, which may be of use.

For sure Ladbrokes has a few clones decent clone which are namely Sportium.es , Betstar.com.au , bookmkaer.com.au and also now Coral . Not sure if you can get a sign up on them from U.S. though.

William Hill did clone with Centrebet . They were merging user accounts last i heard though so maybe not a practical option ...

Football, Tennis, Global Basketball including U.S. College Basketball, American Football, Global Hockey and Global Baseball, in that order I think should be your goal.

Right now you have just Football?

What is next and when?

Thanks!

Hello barnstorm

Thanks for the post, yes just Football (Soccer) currently. We've been testing Tennis, Basketball and U.S Football, but will also ensure the viability of Hockey and Baseball is covered.

We'll keep people posted on the progress as we know the more sports the better.

Also just to let you know we've contacted you directly around some of the specifics of the U.S. Definitely an interesting geography ...

« on: December 09, 2017, 05:05:40 PM »
does it offer value bets?
Hello Esi

We don’t offer valuebets directly as you will know them.

However, a feature of our software is to be able to skew the profit to a specific outcome on a match. This is covered via our “Profit Matrix” within the arb calculator.

A user can look at each leg of the arbitrage in the calculator and see all alternative prices from other bookmakers. Those prices significantly above the other bookmakers imply “value”. The user could look to load all profit in the arbitrage against the “value’ leg. In the long term this approach could yield a bigger return than pure arbitrage.

Also of course a user could also skew profits based on personal knowledge around the outcome of a fixture…

Hi,

I am using Betonvalue.com for 2-3 years. I keep using betonvalue.com because they have HKJC which is a rare bookmaker people focus on, but betonvalue.com did find me a lot of opportunities. Could rational.bet provide this bookmaker?  I will change to rational.bet without any hesitation if there is HKJC.

Detail of HKJC:

Hello hkocph

Thanks for your post. Good to understand your requirements. HKJC was a bookmaker that we did consider pre launch. We'll look into that as a support request and let you know as soon as we possibly can.

Hello campeones

Thanks for you interesting feedback, definitely noted. We are testing Tennis in the background, as the quick turnover of matches is of course very appealing.

Hi p3s0,

We have tested under Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 on the PC side. Microsoft has discontinued XP support so we are not looking to support XP at this stage unless there is large demand for it. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hello Alfa1234 and Campeones

We believe we are very competitive in terms of total number of arbs but we are conscious that we need to add more football markets and sports. We would like to understand which markets and sports users are most interested in within this thread so that we may improve in future versions. Please add your wish list here...

We are very conscious that in the U.S. the number of arbitrage opportunities are somewhat limited by the amount of accessible bookmakers as you have already pointed out.

We have been looking into growing the arb count for U.S users by testing the impact of  Tennis, NFL and Basketball.  Would you have any objections if we contacted you directly to understand a little more about your specifics?

« on: December 05, 2017, 07:43:56 PM »
Dear Users,

There have been a number of reports of anti virus programs identifying our application as containing viruses.

As mentioned in an earlier post, we have been investigating the reports more carefully and appologise for any concern regarding delay.
Our developers use Kaspersky AntiVirus which has not reported anything to date. Today, we have tried to utilise a number of online tools
that are accessible to the public, so you can further verify the results for yourselves.

The first set of results are from Virus Total (www.virustotal.com) and Opswot Meta Defender (metadefender.opswat.com) on our Windows build from Sunday 3 Dec 2017:

RationalBet.exe:
      https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/85f885ea00534f707a3cd80ab0cadb3e3a848e8915719714560c755e5bf6db6a/details (1/66)
      https://metadefender.opswat.com/results#!/file/ZTE3MTIwNXIxUUNLMWROYmZyMU5SRnlfTlpm/regular/overview   (0/36)
RationalBet-2017-12-03ubc-win.exe:
      https://www.virustotal.com/#/file/74a86fe943060c60ad9e80b5824aada2b1a5c3fa2b2b3a10bfb467cfc05715c8/details (0/65)
      https://metadefender.opswat.com/results#!/file/ZTE3MTIwNUhrT2ZXdkF3RS1mQkpWZTJzMFA0Wkc/regular/overview (1/36)

From the analysis by the tools above, the reports were all clean except for (2/100 scans). As the tools above scan the binaries with multiple anti virus applications, we believe that the suspect reports are false positives. We will be in contact with the vendors to try rectify this.

We currently distribute our installers for Windows and Mac OS though our web site only and our software should NOT be downloaded from anywhere else. The installers and the binaries are digitally signed by Machina Trading Ltd when the packages are built.  The digital signatures can be used to verify that the software has not been tampered with.

If your anti virus application is reporting our application as being suspect, please let us know which Anti Virus tool you are using so we can identify and test and make contact with the vendor to address the issue.

We appologise for the inconvenience and any concerns caused and the time taken to do the investigation.

Regards,
rational.bet

UPDATE:
Sophos, Filseclab and AVG have been contacted to review the application for false positives.
