Arbing and trading talk / Re: Arbing/sportsbetting TAX Free Countries
« on: January 20, 2018, 11:32:15 AM »
For those looking to turn some arbing profits into "legitimate" income to be able to get a bank loan, you could start a company in a low-tax EU country and draw an official salary from it.  Your main occupation in that case will be working for that company, so any "additional" income from arbing, can be attributed to simple (untaxed) gambling.

how easy is that to organise?

It is a nice idea, even if it´s not for loan, you got a "income" to show.
But is that not complicated? I mean, if you go abroad you have to do so many things, so many changes....

on this topic: theoretically it's possible not having to pay tax anywhere in the world by continously moving and never staying anywhere for more than a few months. this basically means you're not a tax resident anywhere.

How would this work? You need a adress for your bank, wallet and also for some sportsbooks.
Changing every few month the adress?
As i know is, you need somewhere a tax residence.

let me make something clear, i´m not a newbie and know that arbing is still profitable,
ofc we missed the best times of arbing right? that was 10-15 years ago, but it is still good.
and i know that people try to makes the newbies afraid of arbing in different ways "they cancel your bets" "bad bookie, won´t pay"
so they would give it up fast or won´t even start really.
however, to safe your bets with a easy screenshot tool, i would say is not a bad idea. not even only for tax, also if you withdrawal to your bank...they could maybe ask where the money comes from,
so i safed my bets. yes i agree also, at the same time i think...hey is it time wasting? do i miss some nice arbs?
but you can´t safe ALL your arbs, if you do that, then tbh you live only for betting.

back to the topic:

-Is it allowed for a UK citizen, to use example AC88? Because Sbo/Pin leave´s the UK markt and still not back i guess. :(
-how about if i stay for 6-7 month in UK and then decide to travel around the world? that sounds for me more like a enjoyable life...do we have here arber who travel and arb together?
-investment, still a big questionmark, very good point from Alfa
How do you UK guys solve the problem of "spending" the money?  Let's say you want to buy a rather expensive house...considering gambling is not a profession there, you would not be able to get a mortgage loan based on that income. What about a car loan? I suppose you could simply save your profits, but getting a loan can often be beneficial, definitely when buying a house.  What did/do you do to solve this?

but if the winnings are tax free, then there is no problem...to get a loan from a bank as a gambler, is in every bank of the world, i would say impossible :D
-transaction
-did you guys thought about this idea?
http://arbusers.com/index.php/topic,5453.msg62584.html#msg62584

at the end, i have to say...i don´t understand why you guys all fight togehter, we are more powerful if we help each other, talk about experiences...ok maybe not everything here in a forum.
that is why the big questionmarks still exist. ^^
also why does a guy have this bad karma here, for me he sounds direct and honestly...but most of the people don´t like that way...
anyway, i hope to find some answers and i´m thankful to all helpful comments.

Mates, don´t fight each other, it doesn´t helps. The Life is too short for that.

The main problem of arbing is i guess, how are you gonna explain the transaction between the accounts, if they ever ask you. because you are not 100% betting for your own, so you have to open a company? and pay tax?

I thought i can find here some guys who really go abroad for arbing, specially UK or even Malta...because that is what i mostly hear from others, which country would they go.
But the topic is is really difficult.
And to be honest, i am more confused now then before, i start the thread.
Anyway, thanks for your posts here.

edit: not helpfull here to calling someone a troll, and tbh he doesn´t sounds for me like a troll

Still confused about that....because:
http://arbusers.com/index.php?topic=4869.0

3 guys recommend: Malta.
And one, you have to pay Tax everywhere even in UK.

What changes from March 2017 till now in Malta, some Laws...something happened?

And also it is really sad, that we arbers don´t have a strong community here as i can see...if i´m looking to other poker communitys, so many.

Also the user: "antemartic" tried it, in Austria and got some "questions" about the transactions....that was actually what i mean here....but he is also gone, long time no see here in the Forum.

Still hoping to find anybody, who go abroad because of arbing :D

General talk about e-wallets / Re: E-wallets and CRS
« on: January 15, 2018, 06:50:55 PM »
thx for the summary pete. Does anyone know about crypto exchanges like bittrex, binance? Do they report balances according to CRS / AEOI to tax authorities within the EU?

Binance, Bittrex are exchange sites, so i guess they don´t.
But you could contact the sites also and ask them.

I agree with campeones. 250 is very low, specially for 5 Bookies, which you choose.
How about to set the amount higher and choose 2-3 Bookies first.

Thanks for the reply campeones and naza.
You said the "gamblers" so i guess you mean also that they are arbing, right?
However it sounds complicated in Malta, but nice if it works for them. Maybe that was a reason for you, to not go there...

@naza
are you sure about Malta?

Those who are moving abroad for any reason should also take with them their tax residency too.

Exactly, good point.

Arbing is not gambling. Arbing is a job and should be taxed everywhere. The tax boys must prove that you arb and you dont gamble. They cant prove because you will never say that you arb.
Sportsbetting is tax free in the UK.

The Problem here is the transaction between the wallets, You have to bet with the ID´s. If you withdrawal money to Bank, how can you proof, you are gambling tho.

It is really complicated. Did here anyone makes this move to go abroad or is planing...or where can i get more information about that, does anyone know? It is really hard to find any info @google. This step is not a small one, you have to give up everything on your country, family&friends ect. and leave.

Arbing and trading talk / Arbing/sportsbetting TAX Free Countries
« on: January 11, 2018, 06:10:49 PM »
Hi,

i read so many different answers about, who live from his winnings, like a professional sportsbettor...should he pay tax or not and still not sure what is correct. Of course different countries, different rules.

But which countries are really without any tax of winnings, even if you live from your winnings.
I would say, Malta would be the best choice, isn´t it?
Free for all Bookies, also Exchanges.

Is here someone, who move out to abroad because of that reason?
