Back a heavy favourite (man city for example) at matchbook since they have 0% commission on soccer matches and lay at betfair.

If city wins ,you pay no commission at matchbook and you get a refund at betfair.
If city does not win , well you loose a little by paying commissions at betfair , but thats why you have to lay a heavy favourite at betfair with  the intention to loose at betfair.

The problem is that I get 50% return not 100%!
That is a catch!

Lay 668 euros on man city, so your liability is 100 euros at 1.15. Back city for 600 euros at SBO at 1.14.

City wins -> you win 684 + 50 euros refund = 734. Your total stake was 700, you have 34 euros profit.
City doesnt win -> you win  aprox. 633 (depending on your comission) at betfair. You lost 600 at SBO, you have 33 euros profit.

You're welcome.

whatttt ??

City wins - your calculations are correct
City does not win - you win 100 EUR at betfair , you loose 600 EUR at SBObet.

You should do this :

Lay 670 EUR @ 1.15  at betfair ( you liability  is 670 * 0.15 = 100 EUR )
Back 670 EUR @ 1.14 at SBObet (potential winnings are 670 * 0.14 = 94 EUR)

If City wins --> You win 94 EUR at SBobet , you get 50 EUR refund at betfair , you loose 100 EUR at betfair , so you win a total of 44 EUR
If city does not win ---> You loose 670 EUR at SBObet , you win 670 EUR at betfair , you get no refund , you pay 7% commission (my country)  at betfair ,which is 7% * 670 = 47 EUR.Your total loss is 47 EUR

Basically , this is gambling : You are betting on City to win , risking 47 EUR to win 44 EUR , which means that you are getting Man city with approx odd @ 2.00 while the market price of City is 1.14

Dude, my calculations are right. Maybe I didn't explain it clearly. I meant your liability must be 100 euros when laying city.

READ CAREFULLY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
*Risk means the stake of a back bet or liability of a lay bet.
When you lay ,you are not risking your stake, but your risk is your liability. This means
his  liability should be 100 EUR in order to get 50 EUR refund. If he lays 100 EUR @ 1.15 , then his liability is 15 EUR and he will get 7.5 EUR as a refund.

When you back , your risk is your stake ,so you must stake 100 EUR to get a 50 EUR refund.

At lay odds 1.15, you should lay 666.67 to win 100. The formula to transform lay odds into back odds is: 1 + 1/(lay_odds-1).
Lay odds 1.15 => back odds 7.667. 100 EUROS at 7.667 = 766.67. Minus the risk (100) you get the 666.67 to lay.
After that you must also consider commission, to know how much to bet on the bookmaker (opposite bet)
