Other money beside arbing

Fri Mar 28, 2014 6:44 pm

Still hearing about arbing dying ,i think arbing will never die maybe it will bring less money and become harder to make but for the topic sake lets say it will die in the futher so how can you make your living from professional gambling?
1. Value Betting - Is good because you need smaller stakes than arbing so you can use even limited accounts
2. Casino bonus hunting -  it is very hard but wount die soon because of the people losing milions at online casinos
3. Affilate gambling  (you can combine this with affilate abuse)-If you are arber you must know alot about gambling sites ,why not change sides and promote them to newbies (the best thing about affilate is that it doesnt take that much time).
4. Trading-An arber becoming a trader maybe is the next big thing. The best thing about trading you only need one account (If you know trading you're set for life, ofc if you progress in it ).
5. Poker Player- I know some people how make more from poker than me  arbing and it reseambles alot (8 hours in front of the computer, working beating your brains out) but it is better because you don't need friends.
6. Match fixing - I wouldn't get it to that there are more safer and smarter ways to make money
7. Tipsers-selling tips or maybe buying from good tipsers ( i think this is very risky because the tipser may be getting sloppy watch Two for the Money to see what i mean)
Feel free too add more ways.
And for those how will say that the market in that thing saturated.
There is enough room for you and if not you must make room.

I made my choice already, trading, and I am very happy with the results. After monitoring markets, bookmakers, odds movement from arbing and practise trading I learnt my way. For me, trading is less stressful than arbing, you don't need to worry about limits, money confiscation, IPs, cookies and all that. You need to be patient, never let feelings get in the way of trading and be disciplined, and of course stick to your rules!
My honest advice would be try many things, stick to what you do best and are comfortable with. Each to his own after all!
Cheers!

What happens when you have to pay PC with betfair. I've heard bad stories about them taking money from accounts who they suspect were using second accounts.

Whats wrong with just quitting the PC account and starting over with a new one? Except from losing your discount of course..

If they figure out you're using another account they can help themselves to your money. Is it worth the risk?

Many people who rely on Betfair to pay their bills do not risk avoiding the PC. Betfair is known to take strong actions against people who use duplicate accounts to avoid PC. Read this story as well http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/8782921/Betfair-removed-52000-from-customers-account.html

AFAIK, Betfair works with a third party company that analyses accounts and tries to find accounts who share similar strategies with other accounts, in an attempt to find PC avoiders.

Sure, you can use a new Betfair account but is the risk worth it? Some take it, some don't.

This PC sounds such a bullshit to me. I mean, how can they get away with this? I pay the commision for every single bet. It's their choice they don't charge withdraws/deposits and they give me a bonus from time to time on their own freaking free will.

So one day they will decide to steal 1/3 or 1/4 of my bankroll and all you can do is stick a finger up your ass?

I would say first learn to win there, which is not easy, and then worry about PC. Even in that case they will not touch anything of your past winnings.
