Matchbook arbs

Sat Sep 20, 2014 4:23 pm

How do you guys calculate your arbs on Matchbook?

The regular calculators are wrong because MB takes the commission if we lose too. What fraction of a % do you take out of an arb when it is with MB?

I have been using some 0.4% arbs(according to alert services) with MB and it seems like these give me close to nothing really.

Matchbook charges you even if you lose but only based on your risk if odds are under 2,00. Therefore, you can find much better odds then Pinnacle and asians if you lay a heavy favourite like 1,20-1,30. I compare Pinnacle profit and Matchbook profit (minus %1 of risk) and pick which one is highest. Usually, Matchbook price is much better then Pinny's.

PS: If odds are above 2.00, then Matchbook takes %1 of lay stake, not risk.

Yeah I am starting to notice that my Matchbook arbs are not doing as good.

Smarkets has very small markets haven't tried Laddaq tho.

I'm looking in to the PT Betfair deal now.

Well the Premium Trading Betfair deal is good and probably the only thing out there right now but I haven't registered with them yet.
