What betting amounts tend to gets you limited?
« on: January 03, 2015, 01:41:24 PM »

Hi Guys

Pretty new to this and just wanted some advice as the search results haven't given me the answers i need.

What are people generally betting on arbs to get theirselves easily noticed and 'limited'?

I am thinking of betting in 100's only which may be split 70 on one bet then 30 on the other.

Is this still likely to get caught because it is simply based on the bets you put on and not the amount?

Instead of 70 and 30 I would use 50 or 100 on softs if I can. Maybe it doesn't change anything.

I am relatively new to arbing as well, but have been betting since I was a nipper.
There's a good few who will limit you after 4-5 bets. Typically larger amounts will be allowed in the likes of Bet365, William Hill etc. Cashpoint are pretty good but you have to watch with them too.

Betway caught onto me quite quick and I wasn't even staking high amounts or unusual games/markets.

In my opinion you can only be safe to a certain extent, your time will come for limits as someone else stated it's either make fast big profits now and get limited quicker or make smaller profits in the long run and prolong your account.

If you can get I.D's relatively easy and on the cheap I'd take the first option but it's a matter of preference.

Stake size matters.

Me and a friend of mine have been using the same XXX bookie.
I was hitting the same line twice , 2 bets*100 EUR per bet.
A friend of mine was staking only once 200 EUR.
My account lasted much more.
Of course that different bookies limit in different ways.
