I'd double check to make sure the arb is correct in terms of outcomes and odds. If it is it should generally be fine.

those days such arbs are gone within minuntes usually - otherwise some alertservices fail: for instance European "EX-1" Handycap in wrong direction - mixed Home/away team meaning 6,5 instead of 3,5 odds , etc...

How about in situation when market turns around in a few minutes?

Example:
average odds on all the bookies for Team A are 1.8 and 2.15 for Team B to win a match in basketball. And then in a short period of time odds at Pinnacle start to move in one direction. So at Pinnacle odds for Team A would be 2.00 and for team B would be 1.9 (that is a moment when we usually place a bet, because soft bookies are sleeping). But after placing a bet the odds movement went crazy again and the odds at Pinnacle are now for Team A 5.00 and Team B 1.2. Hope you understand what I mean.

In this situation, can the soft bookie claim the wrong odds (odd 2.15 Team B) excuse if they were slow to change odds?

I wouldn't say never, because I had a void bet in this situation already, but both bookies, that the bets were placed, are considered sharp bookies. Also I have re-opened this thread because at the moment I have the same situation, the only difference is that now one bet was placed on a soft bookie and I have a strong feeling that the soft bookie will try to find an excuse to void a bet.
