Questions about bookmaking

Sun Mar 01, 2015 11:35 am

I was wondering how bookmakers adjust their prices.
From what i know the ideal situation for a bookmaker is to have both sides even with money.
So my questions are:
If a bookmaker has both markets at a match (in play, pre match ),will he continue with the volumes he has on pre match in live or will he start a new market or it depends from company to company ?
If a bookmaker uses a third party for odds supply (like oddsmatrix) does he have any traders or the trading comes only from oddsmatrix and if the trading comes only from the third party then they can see all the money put in their clients markets?
Do some bookmakers ,group (not the same company or clonse) to have a closed/secret market to trade between them ?
