Hello all,
Probably a not-too-clever question, but do there ever exist Arbs between hardbooks and exchanges?
Thanks

Re: Arbs between hardbook and exchange
Yes, for example SBObet (and this will be the one I'm using, since I can't get a Pin account).
Anyone has any experience in arbing between SBObet and for example Betfair/Smarkets/...?

They exist, but the risk is that one side will disappear leaving a loss. Bots will be on them in seconds, even cross market ones.
Not worth it IMO.

you are doing then you will win more than you lose, you've got to find the right bookies and the right times, none of these
are difficult, yes bots are an obstacle but even bots are only as good as their programmer.
I used to do many many arbs this way and if short of "friends" I'd do it again, unfortunately I got to discover that Betfair
is not neccessarily the most accurate guide to odds and have a Betfair account in profit to prove this, for me and my
Betfair account it's better to arb soft against sharp and not Betfair against sharp but they do exist and it's all about
timing, as I said it's not hard to work out but they are usually small % arbs and best if you have a large bankroll, for guys
with massive bankrolls this is a good way of arbing.

talk about putting people of the scent, of course they exist and sure sometimes you will lose money but if you know whatdealer wins wrote: They exist, but the risk is that one side will disappear leaving a loss. Bots will be on them in seconds, even cross market ones.

Re: Arbs between hardbook and exchange
Correct, that makes perfect sense. Just would be a total waste of time and effort with so little in return.
