How this is an arbitrage Opportunity?

Sat Jan 30, 2016 9:18 am

Hi Guys, Need your help here to understand something. How this is an arbitrage opportunity?

Event: France Championnat Pro A
Pinnacle: Cholet Basket (Asian Handicap 0) Pinnacle 1.901
Local Bookie: JDA Dijon (Moneyline) 2.15

Local bookie T&C's include Overtime but not sure about Pinnacle. I tried to search that for Pinnacle that AH 0 includes overtime or no in basketball but get no answer.

SO you think is it a valid arbitrage opportunity? My arbitrage software finder showing it as arbitrage opportunity.

Sure it is 0 handicap on basket it is the same as  ml  (except when bookie has only regulation bets or it is stated as Dnb regulation) that's not the case for pinnacle though

Pinnacle basket rules say:

"Treatment for overtime

Any wager on the game or the 2nd half will include any overtime that may occur."

Which means that AH 0 at Pinny for basket cannot end in a void, as the bet includes overtime.  In other words, even if the game ends in a draw in regular time your bet will not be void by pinny.  So yes, it's an arb.

This mean price for AH0 and moneyline for this event should be same but ML is 1.877 whereas AH0 is 1.9.

Is it normal?

yes it is normal  sometimes moneyline has more juice than handicaps but even if they have the same juice still is not unusual just grab the better price
