I've deposited money, into neteller, by bitcoins, using coincorner, was an easier process than i thought. Didnt realise you could do the reverse! That's fantastic for 'hiding' money from your Mrs et Al nowadays

I just found out Ecopayz has free bitcoin deposits up to 15k per transaction.  They have a mastercard as well and are a cheaper and more convenient alternative to the low Neteller limits.  ;D  If you use the forum link, you'll be upgraded to Silver very quickly.  :D

Hi Alfa,

I cannot find mention of bitcoin deposit being a deposit method on ecopayz site??

Also, where did they source the exchange rate for your deposit? Do they have their own spreads like skrill or do they simply exchange your BTC at the market exchange quoted from some official site?

Deposit -> alternative currency deposit

They use the gocoin provider, it's the official rate so no exchange fees.

Although bitcoin deposits to ecopayz are free, they gave me a worse exchange rate, which equated to a fee of over 1%, so I decided not to go for it. Neteller charges a 1% deposit fee, but gives you a better exchange rate, so you may be better off with Neteller. Even better if we take into account the ATM fees of ecopayz vs. Net+ cards (2% vs. 1.75%, at least for not-so-premium accounts).

As for buying bitcoins using neteller, I found Bitpanda which lets you do this, but their exchange rate is even worse than ecopayz'. Another option is LakeBTC, their exchange rate would be okay, but they wanted to charge a €125 fee for a €1,000 transfer, so thanks, but no thanks. Seems there is no way of doing this cheaply, at least this is what I've found. It would be much easier if e.g. Pinnacle allowed the use of bitcoin.

Everyone who is willing to buy bitcoins with Skrill and Neteller money should be extra careful.
If you fund your NT account with Bitcoin paying a fee of 1% your Net card will be blocked imediately and it will remain blocked until you empty your account completely. At that point the card will be unblocked. This is regardless of the amount of money you have in your account It is the same if you have 100 or 100k.
Your card will be instantly blocked every time you do this no matter how many times you try it.
I m surprised that some people sound careless with this.

using a merchant like bitpanda to sell bitcoin for neteller / skrill should work fine with the Net+ card

Spectrocoin has a 5% fee expensive I know and a €2000 daily ATM withdrawal limit with 2.25 Euros flat fee.
