Can a drivers licence be used as a proof of identity and as a proof of residence?

Ok so if you use it as ID, but the address on the licence is different than the official address provided on another document, is that problematic?

Could be a problem if you no longer live at that address

Do you know anymore about which particular bookmakers think differently in certain circumstances?

It is a requirement with the authorities like for a driving licence to inform them if you are changing address and then they will send out a new driving licence with your new address on so your ID and address documents should never have different addresses on.

Trying to work out each bookmakers' specific ID and address verification requirements is a complete minefield. As a rule, to prevent any problems with getting your account verified you need to have an ID document and an address document both listing the same address with the address document being no more than 3 months old.
