bonus rules

Sun Jul 03, 2016 6:16 pm

Is it standard?
/////The player is not allowed to place stakes higher than his initial deposit until he complete the rollover required. E.g. if the player has made a deposit of 50 EUR and received a bonus of 50 EUR, he has to place bets (according to the bonus minimum odd requirements) that are equal or smaller to his initial 50 EUR deposit before placing higher stakes. In the case of breach of this rule, bonus and relative winnings will be retracted.
Calculation of rollover counts from the moment that the amount of bonus was credited on your account.///////
Is it standard now that  deposit bonuses conditions are more difficult to clear? And if i exceed limits do they confiscate my winnings?
Most of us are not  punters but recreational players and they never read T and C. There should be 50% bonus compain issues or not?

The simple answer is - bookies do what the hell they want, when it suits them.

They always have a T&C that they can change/withdraw the bonus T&Cs at their will.

I have had some utterly ridiculous arguments with bookies, and they honestly don't care what you think.

An example recently was a bookie requesting photos of my passport and bank card that i used when I OPENED THE ACCOUNT, not the one I am currently using. Of course I couldn't provide a photo of a card from 3 years ago as it had been cut up when it was replaced.

On informing the bookie of this they basically said "We can request any ID we want, please read the T&Cs" - I tried to contact the Commision, but there response was "it is up to the bookie what ID they request".

I eventually got them a letter from my bank saying I had been the owner of the card, and whhat transactions i had made to them and when - I thought this would be enough.....but noooooo

"The photo you sent of your passport isn't clear enough - its fuzzy" - I argued that everything on my passport was perfectly readable, they agreed but asked for a "clearer image, regardless"

I sent them a closer picture of the passport, they rejected this because it was very clear...but didn't show all four corners of the passport. I pointed out that the only way I could get all four corners in the picture mean the picture would be fuzzy - "not our problem" was their reply followed by "you could buy another camera with better resolution".

You probably think this was one of the "dodgy" bookies we all know about, it wasn't it's ne that a lot of people recommend...

So as you can see, they do what they want - when they want.

PS - I finally got the money out of them....the full £57 yes....£57

It isn't standard to have these bonus rules but some bookies do have these conditions and if it specifically says in their terms that if you bet above €50 your winnings will be removed, then whether you agree with it or not they have the right to do so as it says that in their terms that you agreed to when taking the bonus. You being a recreational punter and therefore not reading the terms is no sort of excuse to give to a bookmaker. At the very least let this be something for you to learn to read the bonus terms for a bookie going forward. What bookie are you talking about so we can look at the exact terms?

Actually its not important which bookie it was. But TC are going more detail
Why are they doing this? Are there so much bonus hunters that kill their profits?i dont get it. usually they offer shitty lines like 10% spread and they dont want to play bonus for marketing reason

Other thing is "winning voids" topic Lets say i make deposit 100 and get 200 total. I make it 2k with consecutive winning bets. Mathematically thay can subtract bonus amount, because maximum i will gain is 100 unit EV.  If they confiscate my money and let me withdraw 100 then sry it is bs. What would courtroom says about that?
Assume you are going to the live casino you get bonus and are playing a lot and when you leave casino manager says give winning back, because i didnt like your bets...and we have some rules

They could be putting in these bonus rules to catch unsuspecting customers out, they want to limit their loss on each bonus or they could be an outright scam, who knows why bookies make such decisions and certainly nobody knows much when we don't even know which bookie you are talking about. If the bookie voids winning bets for no good reason then they are probably a scam.

I'm only speculating about all of this though as I don't know which bookie you are talking about. So you either tell us which bookie you are on about or there really is no more specific info that we can advise you on.
