Chipmunk, here is no confusion, I mean exactly RОI.For example, I have about 600 bеts per month on major sports If I place all those with a single bet of one unit I will have 600 units pledged for the month. At the end of the past years, I have a return of 625 units a month.this equates to a 25% average ROI for Major sports.

figures are averaged to facilitate the example.
ROI is profit / investment
Yeild is profit / total stake

If you invest USD 10.000 (initial bankroll) and bet USD 5.000 in a month and win USD 1000, your ROI is 10% and your yield is 20%. If you bet USD 10.000 and win USD 2.000, both ROI and Yield are 20%. If you bet USD 20.000 and win USD 2.000 in a month, ROI is 20% and yield is 10%.

You must be talking about yield.

Thanks for clearing that up :) What is your actual roi then Yasio? Return pr bet.

There are some things that doesn't add up in my head though..
Yasio wrote: Based on my experience, I categorically declare that the basis of long-term winnings in betting is to find value in the prices offered by bookmakers. But this task is not simple and easy.
Obviously - and the process is not simple and easy. Therefor I find the next statement rather odd:

Sounds rather simple and easy to me. To be able to beat the market in so many different sports you would need to either follow good tipsters (there was a discussion earlier about how difficult this task can be) or use data to model the games. It is impossible to have an edge on so many big markets without the use of data imo. Finding the right data is not easy and can be rather costly.
Yasio wrote: -In 95% of all games I beat the closing line.Cases where I fail are last-minute changes.change in expected squad, change in weather conditions and other extraordinary events.
So basically you always make a good bet. The circumstances you are talking about is all variance and goes both ways. Impressive.

Whenever someone comes off with an impression, that it is "easy" to beat the big markets on Pinnacle, then I can't put it aside. It is not easy to have an edge on these markets. Definitely not to have an edge on basically all of the big sports/markets out there.

I personally believe you can have an edge on these markets though. Some don't. The closing odds on Pinnacle reflects the true probability of an outcome to happen on the big markets on average. These probabilities can be figured out through mathematics and modelling, but for this to be possible you would need the right data and use it correctly.

"What is your actual roi then Yasio? Return pr bet."

-I only count my Yeld, If we go back to the example with 600 paced units a month and 150 earned this is 25% yeld. And my yeld is the only thing that matters to me.It is not important for me how this profit is attributed to my entire bank or to any single bet. It's easy to calculate but I do not care.I have never calculated it, I will not do it now.

"Obviously - and the process is not simple and easy. Therefor I find the next statement rather odd:"
"Sounds rather simple and easy to me."

- it's hard to find value in the big leagues, and it's harder to find a way to make money out of it.when I made my progress in 2011, I never used the big leagues and the sharp bookmakers. It took me four years and many, many tests of different ideas and variations to find a system of winning Pinnacle and Assia and finding the right tools to do that.Once I have reached the right strategy, everything is really easy, simple and free. All it takes is time.I'm on a full-time basis, most days of the week 16-18 hours a day I work.

",,,or use data to model the games. It is impossible to have an edge on so many big markets without the use of data imo. Finding the right data is not easy and can be rather costly."

-you are absolutely right.I use game modeling data.Finding correct data without the right tool is not only not easy - it's impossible. But there are a few excellent free tools on the internet that can extract all the necessary data.

BUT!if one does not know how to use these tools, they will look completely useless in his eyes.

So basically every single time you place a bet on the big leagues in football you make 27% in profits. Even greater numbers in other sports. Add to that you never make a mistake, unless something extraordinary happens... I'll stop wasting my time :)

Can you name any of these free tools? Personally I can't believe this can be achieved with free tools, your numbers are too good to be true..

his is not the case, this yeld is averaged over the entire period!in this period of two and a half years I have had months of -20% and + 40%.yes, I never make mistakes when determining if there is value or no value.I have always made my bet over the closing price in Asia.BUT IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT EVERY BET WINS !!!!In my practice, I have had hundreds of bets at 40% over the closing line that have been lost

Yes, I will tell you two: Oddsportal.com & Betfair.com/exchange

If one knows how to use a oddsportal and if he knows how to use the exchange as an instrument, they are a treasure for him.for the rest peoples these two sites remain a simple place to compare odds and sports bets/sports exchange

For example:
https://www.betfair.com/sport/football/event?eventId=28422307

There is great value on 2.00 odds for home team, they will be 45% and more over clossing line.

I'm not a smart guy but do know value betting or arbitrage are not dead.
I don't know what djmola111 means.
Look at you. You are going to Vas Legas for gambling. You are not an arber and not a value betting player. You are a gambler 100%. Dont tell me that you go to see the desert.
Because you are a gambler you are not a smart guy as you said. A smart guy never gamble.
not going to gamble......going because flights are not expensive and weather is 30 degrees and sunny all day and most importantly it's the international break so good time to have a little break from arbing which can be a stressful job, lots to do in Vegas without gambling, I've been a few times before

ok you're not djomla111, who started off quite funny with his negative posts but then went too far.

you say arbing and value betting are not possible and you are 100% correct, for you that is if you are writing the truth? but for the smart guys like sharika who posted yesterday then there is still nice profits to be had.
Speak the truth. Did you lose or win money in Las Vegas.
30 degrees, chip flights and sunny all days is in Oman, Morocco and Egypet. But they don't have casinos in Oman. They have casino in Las Vegas where you can lose money. Give up gambling. It destroys lifes and many religious forbid it.

you choose your name well MADafaka as you are a little crazy but maybe a little funny too, no I did not gamble in Las Vegas, I have in the past but that was before I discovered arbing, when you are live arbing you are gambling every day, I don't need to go to Vegas to gamble and casinos are with every online bookmaker, if you are a gambler then you don't have to go to Vegas, maybe for people who live in USA this is the reason as not so easy to gamble in other states.

and you are very correct, gambling has destroyed many lifes and bookmakers encourage this whilst pretending not too and at the same time keeps their profits high so they can tolerate arbers, if everyone was a smart bettor there would be no bookmakers.
