They said they don't limit accounts but have limited me to bet less than £2 on English Premier League match odds.
Joke company.  :D

I am finding them useful to close out positions etc.  I have come across a couple of decent arbs, especially in live play, but they seem sharpish I will say.

The only other bad word I've heard anybody say about Black Type closing anybody down was on here by somebody saying Black Type closed that person down but that person had already said they had a history of managing to get multiple Smarkets accounts closed so they were obviously up to funny games previously with Smarkets and also with Black Type as well, so I expect you have been up to funny games with Black Type as well, otherwise they wouldn't have closed you down.

The very simple message is, if you play it straight and fair with Black Type you'll have no problems. If you try any funny games, you'll probably have problems.

No you condescending clown. I have bet normally. They claim to lay to lose £1000 on major markets but don't.

Max bet of £1.11 on an EPL match and wouldn't accept anything on a Serie A game.

I am most definitely not a "condescending clown". I'm extremely knowledgeable and I'm simply just stating the facts. If you don't like that, then that's your stupid little problem.

What reason did they give you for closing you down then?

Black Type wouldn't have closed you down unless you were trying it on with them, it's as simple as that.

They were a bit sloppy with their pre-match odds 2 weeks ago, but they learn fast.  I have high hopes for them. And fair play to a UK bookie actually letting a punter get a reasonable bet on!  Makes every other UK bookie look pathetic, and we are talking about mega FT listed businesses here that are too scared to take even a fiver of anyone who is not an addict!!

Second account limited today  :)
Hey luctens, seeing as you are apparently so knowledgable, please tell me what these funny games that you accuse me of are?  ;)

Who knows what sort of funny games you get up to, but for sure you have been up to something for Black Type to close you down.

The only two people that I've heard that have been limited with Black Type is you, somebody who admits managing to get multiple Smarkets accounts closed so you've obviously been up to funny games with Smarkets so you have obviously been up to some funny games with Black Type as well in order to get your accounts closed with them, and BOOYAKA, who as soon as he gets asked why he has been limited by Black Type, he closes his Arbusers account, which makes it extremely clear that he has been up to something with Black Type as well.

I will most definitely go with the overwhelming majority of people that have nothing bad to say about Black Type, rather than with two people that obviously have been trying it on with Black Type.

As I asked BOOYAKA, what reason have Black Type given for closing your two accounts down?

And as I said before, Black Type wouldn't close you down unless you were up to something.

lucterns, I closed my account because I don't have time to read and respond to the gargantuan amount of drivel you type. I am busy on weekends and you were putting me off my work.

I'm sure you're not the only one  ;D

They accused me of the same. They have a few very weak markets/lines which I nailed. I know of others who have been limited too - not betting on the same markets as I am though. You can still make 2-3K profit from an account there if they give you a weekend. I am still waiting for the reason that this latest account was limited.

ingarb3, they told me my account was limited as they thought I may have been using software to place arbs on their site and they don't allow that, and that now my account limits are back to normal. I didn't use any software and I think the real reason was that I hammered them in 2 days.

This is just a final post from me to point out that if you do use this bookmaker, they can limit at any time and accuse you of robotic bet placement even if you don't use any software. Always have a back up plan if the bet does not go through. Not closing out arbs can be a bad idea. Good day, Booyaka.
I most certainly do not type a "gargantuan amount of drivel", in fact I have an extremely diverse range of knowledge and views. Nobody is forcing you to read this forum, read my posts or respond to my posts, and if me posting on this forum "puts you off your work", then you need to stop chucking your toys out of the pram and stop behaving like a little baby and you need to start learning to be way more professional and disciplined in your operations.

Regarding Black Type, they very clearly say on their website that they don't allow you to use automated software to place bets on their site, so they obviously quite rightly limited you until they were satisfied that you weren't using computerised software. And as you've now said, they've now put your account back to normal now that they are satisfied that you aren't using computerised software, so Black Type have done absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever in this situation, they have simply followed what is stated on their site on what they won't allow and what their procedures are.

Received two emails from them this week:

1 "Following a review of your account by our trading department, a decision has been taken to no longer accept any horse racing bets placed by you once racing has started. This decision has been taken due to your persistent exploitation of the slower feed that bookmakers receive from the track.

The spirit of the Black Type “guaranteed bet to win” concession was designed for individuals who were being restricted from backing horses due to taking top price or backing horses whose prices shortened. It was not designed for individuals who simply wish to “front run” a slower feed and back “prices” that are incorrect or out of date compared to Betfair.

However, we do not wish to close your account and you are still welcome to back any horse to win £500 providing you do so before the show commences for the first race.

A temporary restriction has been applied on your account and will be lifted if you agree to the above conditions. If you choose to continue betting during the show at race time, further restrictions will apply while if you agree to the above but do place any bets during this time those bets, win or lose, will be voided.

Please acknowledge by return email should you wish to agree to the above and have your account restriction lifted.

This does not apply to any other sport and you are welcome to bet to normal limits in any other markets.

Regards

Black Type
 "

2. "Dear Customer

Following a review of your account by our trading department, a decision has been taken to remove our bet to win guarantees from all your horse racing bets.

Our policy on arbitrage and ‘syndicate style’ betting is highlighted on our website. This decision has been made due to you consistently placing bets within a few seconds of known robot software arbers, too many to be a mere coincidence.

I can confirm your account remains open. You are still able to bet on horse racing and are welcome to bet on all other sports.

This decision will not be reversed.

Best Regards

Black Type
"

I didn't use any software to place bets. Found them manually and lay on betfair/smarkets.  Then get limited,

Not using any automated software just quick with my mouse and fingers. They wouldnt even let me bet more than £50 on odds on shots prior to this, so not sure why they advertise a£500 guarantee.
