commision

Mon Dec 12, 2016 11:49 pm

I have read in pinnis article about commision and i am not sure.Lets say that commision is 2/100.It said actually that if you bet 100 in odd 2.00 that the return money will be 196 but it is wrong because comission is only for clear profit,so the return money will be 198 and not 196.Am i wrong?

Also when someone back an odd 2.00  and lay the same bet at 1.99  and lets say your profit will be 1$ so the commision will be 0.02,right?

pinnie doesn't have commission, betfair and smarkets charge on total market profit, so if you lay a bet for 100€, win, you will pay % on those 100€. matchbook charges for every bet, and differently if you win or lose but i think they don't even know how it works.

I know of course that pinni dont have comission :P What do you mean that matchbook  dont know it ..can you explain?Betfair and smarkets charge on total profit, which means that if you win 10 in the same back-lay market you will be charged only 0.2.But when you bet 100 on 1.50 back odd you will charge for 50 profit ,which means 0.02*50(profit) and not 0.02 *100(stake).Am i wrong? Also when you bet  at a lay bet lets say 10 stake at 1.5 lay odd. Liability 5.00, which means profit 5,return 15, you will be charged 0.02* 5 (profit) or 0.02*10(stake)?

This means actually that if you lay bet and win 100 you you be charge 2.If you lose you not pay commision.Commision is for profit not for stake, regardless if you back or lay bet.The article of pinnacle said that exhanges comission is at stake and not on clear profit, which is totally wrong.

Perhaps you can link us to that article so we check what it says and help you get to a conclusion.
