How long do you normally wait for an arb to settle.

I think personally max 2-3 days, but I was just wondering how long other people wait.
Generally some really good % arbs can be obtained by waiting longer for the bet to settle.

Then you also have the possibility of arbing a multi if you spread your bet.

I will take a 5-10% arb even if it takes 3 months to settle.

I would rather take 1000 1% arbs during that period..

When theres more time from the moment you place a bet until the moment when the event starts, you are in a more static market, where value can easily be spotted and you might be flagged faster..

Besides, your money is trapped and you cannot roll it over..

For me it's max 12 hours (with some exceptions), but mainly between 1 min - 2 hours.

Take into account that real value of a given arb is not only its percentage but how long until your money plus profits is usable again (compounding profits).

After 15 years of arbing I could tie up £250K easily for 6 months.  God bless arbing!!

Life has shown, that you need more arbs than money. Yes when your bankroll is 100eur then you have problems....
