Finding Bets to lose on

Fri Mar 03, 2017 7:20 pm

Anyone have any recommendations on finding bets to lose, preferable lay bets

Not looking to make profit here but arb-out for a withdraw.

A 10/1 shot will lose about 90% of the time.

A 100/1 shot will lose 99% of the time.

Adjusted odds as you are betting on them wanting them to lose desperately ...

30% and 85% lol

problem is odds do come in sometimes even when they are long and look like they will lose. Eventually you will have a hit. Maybe lay horses at 10/1 in a busy race and hope for the best. 9/10 times you will lose.

It's only statistical chance. In real life you have variance. He can hit not only 10/1 but 100. In this context horses are as tricky as any other sport. Arbing out is just a bad idea. Might be considered only as the last and desperate way keeping in mind that one may end up with way more money in the book's account one wanted to withdraw from in the first place.

OP: forget about this idea. There's no mathematical foundation to justify any way to do something like this properly. Like Max pointed out if you could find losers, then you could as well find winners and make easy money. So actually by arbing-out you'll just be plain gambling and risking to end up with much more money in the book where you want to lose... probably because you're having a hard time to withdraw. My advice would be to fight for that withdrawal by all possible means.

I don't have any issues with withdraws, but personal preference.
Want to keep certain bookmakers happy by having a negative balance.

Best way I've found so far is dogs and horses the only issue is that you need alot of money in betfair to be able to cope with a 5/1 or a 10/1
The other issue is the matching, so it has to be a big race or something that has a large interest.

You shouldn't have any problem laying max stake that books are ready to take on horses between 5/1 and 10/1 at any horse race in UK. Another thing is if you bet horses you get more attention from books than if you don't which might be counterproductive.

As mentioned, guaranteeing a loss is impossible but if you're trying to rollover a bonus with arbs with the least exposure, bet on as low odds as their T&Cs will let you.

(hitting those 10:1 / 100:1 when you're trying to lose money is the worst thing you can do, you'll have a huge sum in your account and you've barely even rolled anything over in that bet)
Win->bet more->lose->bet same-> bankrupt

Go for 2-10x multiple bets..  Even the bookie will love you if you do this :)

Yeah I think you guys are right, very difficult to roll over greater than 5/1 to 10/1
Especially if that 5/1 wins, than your stuck with even more money and less on the bf side.

I like the idea of multis, pick about 2> arbs and roll them into a multi.
Then lay each bet individually, I haven't worked out the mathematics if this at all possible.
