I have been arbing for 14 years now, and still enjoy the buzz of arbing every day (I tend to only do Thurs-Sun these days unless a big event on).
I dont think I will ever have a day where I dont feel the thrill and buzz of firing up my screens and putting down bets that make money.
Wondering if we are all the same or do some of you hate it, find it a grind etc
Cheers

That's a great one dealer
I enjoy arbing too, as if it was the first day. Some days are certainly better (more fun) than others, not only depending on profit but also, for me, on number of events and on how good I arb that particular day, which also depends on some other factors, of course. Anyway, the answer is yes!

Re: Do you enjoy arbing
The fact that I enjoy arbing is one of the reasons why I don't switch to value betting - there would inevitably be many losing days, which would make it much less enjoyable, even though I would know I'm doing it right.
What I also enjoy is thinking about and experimenting with new ideas, tweaks, improvements to my screen layout and betting process, etc. I need these things to make arbing more interesting than pure grinding. And it's a great feeling to find out that a new strategy works, it's like finding an untouched oil field.

I enjoy it but i mostly live arb, pre match 3 percent isnt enough when i have account limitations.
because of this live arbing is where i am at and it is fun but i swear i will give myself a heart attack one day. it gets tense at times.

Thats the bit I enjoy the most, that proper buzz when you pray you see your bet matched on the exchange or the countdown hoping the odds dont change etc!!Marley3913 wrote: I enjoy it but i mostly live arb, pre match 3 percent isnt enough when i have account limitations.

haha exactly! i think maybe being made redundant last week has added a bit more pressure, i dont like the idea of screwing up whilst im still arranging new work.
also you have been going 14 years! im 25 and started mbing last year and have been arbing about 8 months. how was arbing in the early years as im assuming no alert services or forums like this were around back then?

My only regret was back then I didnt have the funds to fully take advantage and was constantly waiting for money to come back to my bank account so I could re-deposit it. (No Skrill then it was a 3 day wait for withdrawals) If I had the bankroll I have no back then I could have made easily £100K a year, if not 2 or 3 times that.
Re: Do you enjoy arbing
10 years ago arbing was a piece of piss you could phone up most books and get £1000 on anything without a problem, even Stan James would take big money on obvious arbs lolMarley3913 wrote: haha exactly! i think maybe being made redundant last week has added a bit more pressure, i dont like the idea of screwing up whilst im still arranging new work.

Yes multi-accounters are gonna have a hard time, and so they should its fraud.
14 years and all with only one i.d? you're an arbing superstar
Re: Do you enjoy arbing
Yes I am a B365 employee, im collecting all your IPs, typing style, details of bets you post etc to identify you, and I will ban all you dirty little multi-accounting arbers from B365. Some of you even use the same name on here as your B365 username which makes it really easy for me.dealer wins wrote: I have been arbing for 14 years now, and still enjoy the buzz of arbing every day (I tend to only do Thurs-Sun these days unless a big event on).

Re: Do you enjoy arbing
No troll, and yes I have only ever placed bets on accounts in my name!
I have been arbing, bonus hunting, casino bonus hunting, online poker bonus hunting proudly since 2003. Now its 99% arbing and dabbling in trading/educated guesses in how a market will move before an event.
Apart from arbing the most satisfying thing was racking up 5 million virgin airmiles by depositing to casinos with a credit card when it didnt get a cash advance fee.
And taking of Virgin, Virgin Games paying me an £800 withdrawal several times and not even chasing it once.
I sincerely wish every arber all the success and may you avoid errors and palps, the 2 worst things we have to suffer
