Pinnacle's return to UK

Fri Jun 16, 2017 10:47 am

There was a rumour about a possible return to UK but I haven't heard anything again.
Anybody got news about this?

They keep on blogging that they welcome everyone, have arbing guides and even an arb calculator lol  They wont be going soft anytime soon.  If they start banning "smart" bettors and arbers who is left, no one lol

Here is a statement from our Pinnacle manager:

Hi,

Unfortunately we still do not have any further news regarding the UK license and have just been told that I can be any day now, but no confirmed date!

We literally have all of our material ready to go but without the green light it is just sitting on hold.

Kind regards,

I'd heard end of the year in July or so. Gone pretty quiet since though.

Good news really, they (sorry us punters) wont be paying the UK 15% tax, and betting agents will be happy!

Sounds a bit like the regs+tax is a bit too onerous. Shame, I could do with a native account, hitting up against limits too often cos my agent is on 50% stakes.

I gave up arbing when Pinnacle et al left the UK in 2014. All the UK bookmakers had been pretty quick to reduce my gambling limits to practically zero so there became no point paying an arbing service when you couldn't find a decent Bookmaker to put a sizable bet on. So the latest Pinnacle news is a big blow to my hopes of a return to arbing. I don't suppose there are any bookmakers that use pinnacle that we can bet on ?  Oh yes and without doubt the UK Gambling Commission is purely biased towards our own greedy and unscrupulous Bookmakers and pay little attention to the UK punters (another example being the gaming machine max limit they suggest being reduced to £30 when we all know it should be at the most £5!!...they are happy to continue to let afflicted gamblers continue losing vast sums of money causing misery to many households). Shameful!

A UK arber could normally replace Pinnacle with Betfair or Smarkets.
