arbing with a partner
Hello excuse me if this topic has been discussed already, I would like to know the mechanism by which the sportsbooks can detect arbing, and i'm wondering if it has to do with multiple accounts linked together, or if it only depends on the type of bets being placed and therefore rendering arbing with a partner an ineffective solution. any help is appreciated

Hello boppobelly and welcome to the forum
This and other related matters have been extensively discussed in the forum several times.
It would be pointless to feed a new thread about the same topic. I would suggest you read deeper into the forum and you will certainly find some answers.
However if you come up with other more specific questions that haven't been discussed yet, many of us will be pleased to help you.
Good luck!

Re: arbing with a partner
Give up now before you lose your time and your money. Arbitrage will be OK and you will get money when you start but it will be difficult later when all bookmakers limit your accounts. It does wort the money and the time. The bookmakers will make all explanations to say that your account is linked with others. You place a bet because you see that bet in rebel betting but another guy from Argentina placed the same bet because he also get the bet from rebel betting. Now here is the link that the bookmakers are looking for. It is so easy for them to find all excuses to not to pay.boppobelly wrote: Hello excuse me if this topic has been discussed already, I would like to know the mechanism by which the sportsbooks can detect arbing, and i'm wondering if it has to do with multiple accounts linked together, or if it only depends on the type of bets being placed and therefore rendering arbing with a partner an ineffective solution. any help is appreciated

boppobelly, don't pay attention to madafaka, he's a local troll. you'll come across a couple of them when you browse through the forum. a good indication to spot a troll is when they tell you to give up, or that the puppies of the forum owner jump to the owner's defence when an issue is discussed. okay, these are more like "inside jokes" really, just focus on the content when you read.

Bookmakers use various ways to detect arbing and dangerous (for them) actions. They start upon registration by implementing a profiling system. Read more here: http://arbusers.com/index.php/topic,4504.msg52696.html#msg52696
Then they use software to see which players are constantly taking the best odds.
To detect multiple accounts and links among players they use cookies and other tactics. For example, read here:
http://arbusers.com/index.php/topic,4010.msg46299.html#msg46299
Even if you pass all safety nets that they set for players, in the end you will have to pass some tests, some of them beyond the imagination of normal bettors. For example, read here: http://arbusers.com/index.php/topic,2550.msg30969.html#msg30969
These links are my suggestions for now, so you get to know things for starting. You should search the forum and see the info available here for you.
Welcome to the forum.

First of all take barbero's advise and start searching in the forum, while you keep csampion's advise as well for future reference.boppobelly wrote: I would like to know the mechanism by which the sportsbooks can detect arbing, and i'm wondering if it has to do with multiple accounts linked together, or if it only depends on the type of bets being placed

new guy on the road to arbing profit, he's looking for information on how to arb, you have given him not one shred of help
except not to listen to trolls, this does not make him any wiser when it comes to arbing and does not answer any of his questions...........of course you will not help the guy.
madafaka's post was not so stupid and maybe the OP should be paying attention to him and not to you csampion,
many newbies will indeed lose money as madafaka says especially if they are not so wise in arbing knowledge
as this guy obviously is, the most likely outcome is in fact that he will lose money and eventually give up, just as madafaka says.
madafaka was trying to be funny but at the same time hit the nail on the head, you on the other hand csampion posted
nothing that will help the guy but just a post to gain favour and make you sound like a good guy, be a good guy and actually
help the guy, if not then you really haven't got anything of value to post in this guy's quest for arbing knowledge
Re: arbing with a partner
ok csampion, if you are such a good guy, then give the guy something, give him some of your wisdom and help an obviouscsampion wrote: boppobelly, don't pay attention to madafaka, he's a local troll. you'll come across a couple of them when you browse through the forum. a good indication to spot a troll is when they tell you to give up, or that the puppies of the forum owner jump to the owner's defence when an issue is discussed. okay, these are more like "inside jokes" really, just focus on the content when you read.

As for csampion's advise, that was the best advise he could give to a newbie because people like you and Madafaka are disorientating newbies, trying to take away from them even the slightest possibility of success.
Shame.
Re: arbing with a partner
What is stopping you Yorkjoss from giving that help to the guy? Oh, I forgot...yorkjoss wrote: if you are such a good guy, then give the guy something, give him some of your wisdom and help an obvious new guy on the road to arbing profit, he's looking for information on how to arb,
It is not csampion's duty or obligation to provide any help, but you as a crusader of morality in this dirty forum you must help the new guy.yorkjoss wrote: you can write anything on a fourm

madafaka has actually made the best reply, sideprofits and csampion post but write nothing to help the guy
if the guy wants to pm me sure I'd help him, I've helped many in my time
and I'm still here sideprofits, not banned yet, your santa has still to deliver your present
Re: arbing with a partner
yes shame on you sideprofits, you called for me to be banned, if csampion like you has nothing to say to help the guy then your post's are worthless, personally I think the best bit of advice possible to give to a newbie is to be careful or you are going to lose money, I'd say that this happens to the biggest % of guys who discover arbing as much knowledge and also self control and discipline is needed.sideprofits wrote:What is stopping you Yorkjoss from giving that help to the guy? Re: arbing with a partner
barbero had already told the OP to read the forum, as these are the typical questions that have been addressed many times, and extensively. one could literally write pages in response every time. repeating the same thing over and over is to noone's avail (although you seem to be enjoying this practice). if one is not resourceful enough to read through a forum by himself, then yes, it's likely they will not be savvy enough to survive arbing, let alone evolve enough to get past limitations. could be called natural selection in a way. telling them to read may just be a nudge in the right direction.
how in the world was madafaka funny? try seeing his posts in the eyes of a newbie and you'll see they are nothing but discouraging. no advice, just derailing. you of all people should know that it is indeed possible to succeed in arbing, even when starting out today.

I would never tell anyone to give up or discourage them and check my posts I never have, even if you only make 50 euros a week that to some is still a success and who knows an individual financial circumstances? arbing is very dangerous to newbies, most will lose money and give up not make any money, arbing is so close to gambling that very easy for the two to be mixed especially when there's the 100% inevitable loss/mistake and then the urge to gamble to recover this becomes overwhelming, even experienced arbers fall into this trap but their finances are far stronger than the newbie, who loses everything and gives up.
I hope the OP reads all posts and i wish him well, if he's a smart guy he WILL be a success.
I'll continue to laugh at madakafa's posts, of course not to be taken entirely seriously but refreshing to read than the yes men
all "toeing the party line" on here and posting what they think the owner wants them to post.
sideprofits.....I'm still here!
Re: arbing with a partner
in a forum dominated by yes men and newbies madafaka is funny, as for discouraging, your posts csampion are just as discouraging to the newbie as madakafa, just that he's honest about it, you try to pretend to be a good guy but at the same time not prepared to give any help at all, your recent post is giving the OP the same message as madafaka with fancy words, talking of natural selection and of course at the same time not giving away any of your "precious" knowledge.csampion wrote:
