Hello guys,
Who do you call a shap player? what are the qualities of a sharp player?
I read somewhere that only 2%-3% make real money from sports. How much you have to make to became a member of 2%-3% "club"?

Re: Definition of sharp player
Someone with a long-term profitable strategy. Probably only 2-3% make any profit at all, never mind 'real' money.
I'd say someone who pays Betfair's premium charge can consider themselves sharp, or someone beating enough closing lines of Asian bookmakers. This would put you well within the top 2-3%.

I would consider all long time profitable arbers/value bettors "sharp" as well considering they make money from bookmakers long term.
