I was asked to send a clear photo of myself with my ID and my computer (mobile) screen in the same frame.
However, when I explained that it was not possible because I only had one mobile camera, I was flatly refused entry.
Is there really anything more unreasonable than this?

Trust me, we have seen over the years more demanding requests. 2 hands (not 2 cameras) were not enough.

Re: 22bet identity verification
By the way, when I asked how to take the picture, I received this image.
It's not a computer screen, by any standards.

Re: 22bet identity verification
I was doing a search for 22bet reviews when I noticed your post.
Trying to figure out if they would let me withdraw anyway. Same company as 1xbet with great odds but will block you from taking out your money.
Are you trying to withdraw? Anything new? it worked?

Re: 22bet identity verification
thank you for your reply.
Since I had some free time, I took dozens of new photos and somehow my application was accepted and I was able to withdraw the money.
But it's quite stressful.
And now we are doing the same with GGbet.
Apparently selfies are the standard form of identity verification in the industry, and what's worse is that they think it's easy to do.
In fact, if you try it, you'll see that when the focus is on the face, the small letters on the ID become blurry.
Now, when you bring your ID closer, your face won't fit in the picture.
In the end, I was asked to get someone to take the photo for me.
To be honest, I can't do it.
I'd love to know what all the pros do.

Re: 22bet identity verification
That's great you finally got the money!
With them, can you pass the verification before trying to withdraw or waiting for them to ask?
With Stake I created an account a while ago, probably over 6 weeks. They have 4 levels of verification. The first two are quick to pass but 3 and 4 are still showing "pending review" as of today. When I contact them they tell me they are sorry, that their KYC department is very busy etc... Having read reviews about them, I decided to pass all 4 level before sending any money.
Since you were able to get your money from 22bet I'm thinking of opening an account if I can get verified before sending any money..

Re: 22bet identity verification
I agree.
It is best to make a deposit after completing KYC.
I was initially told that the bookmaker would refuse to withdraw money, so it was a blessing in disguise that it was a small amount.
22bet left the following email at the end:
「The bookmaker reserves the right to refuse to accept a bet or deposit from any individual without giving a reason.
Betting is not available for you. Please create a withdrawal request to receive funds remained on your account.」
I had heard about it beforehand, but I never expected to actually receive such a message.
This clearly shows that bookmakers are not on the side of professionals like us.
After making multiple inquiries, I found out that support and KYC are handled by separate departments with no coordination between them at all.
It's especially bad when companies ask you to send images multiple times.
I am Japanese, and it is unthinkable that I would not be able to withdraw money from a Japanese service, so it has left me feeling mentally exhausted.

I wont agree, bookies who are intended on keeping your money can run verifications two to 3 more times even after initially verifying you.HIROTO SESHIMO wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:46 pmI agree.

How often does this authentication occur?
If it exceeds a certain amount?
When engaging in arbitrage, you will probably have to deposit a large amount of money somewhere, even if only temporarily, but what do you all do?

I'm trying to find a bookie(s) that shows up often on Surebet and which support MuchBetter to deposit/withdraw.
I'm not in the US either so not being able to use MGM, ESPN, Fanduel, CZR, DK etc sucks.
Using Bet365 I was lucky so far with not being limited. My gains were high at some point, managed to lose it all back to the benefit of my Pinnacle account. Withdrawing from Pinnacle was easy and instant so far. I'm also using BetOnline, Premium Trading, a local in the province where I live and Finally PokerStars. That last one limits your bets very very quickly. But withdrawing was instant using MuchBetter.
I would really like to see some list of the most used soft books.
Re: 22bet identity verification
Oh, so you got banned! I think I'll stay away from them after all.HIROTO SESHIMO wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:46 pm

Re: 22bet identity verification
Thank you, Nick
Any information on which bookmaker you are using would be very helpful.
Bookmakers are fairly minor in Japan, and the most famous one, bet365, recently withdrew from the country.
I also opened about 10 accounts at first, but there were very few bookmakers that were of any use other than Pinnacle.
So I am currently looking for a bookmaker with a good reputation.
Regarding 22bet, I was planning to stop using the service at the time of the withdrawal, so I don't know if betting is actually prohibited.
I had only made one bet just before making the withdrawal, but that was because there was no problem.
I don't know how much authority this KYC department has, and there was no communication with support whatsoever.
Today I tried to authenticate it with a reputable bookmaker, but support adamantly refused, saying this is not an invoice.
However, the details I submitted clearly state the amount to be charged.
I'm sorry
It looks like this
My documents were rejected at the sole discretion of the support staff.
That must be a terrible story
This kind of thing happens even when the support staff are of the same nationality as me.
Since the other party is a human being, the KYC issue may be the same everywhere.

The funny verifications usually comes when winnings are accumulated
Re: 22bet identity verification
Usually i tend to implore this method, check about the bookie first here and then in trustpilot for reviews. But mostly, if it is not a popular bookie, i wont deposit anything i can lose and when my winnings increase, i can withdrawl daily. it dont matter..HIROTO SESHIMO wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 11:12 amI've heard that too.I wont agree, bookies who are intended on keeping your money can run verifications two to 3 more times even after initially verifying you.
