About Foreign Bookies, VPN and KYC

Wed Feb 02, 2022 6:44 am

Hi guys,

First of all, in my country is totally legal to bet, here we have some local bookies and worldwide bookies like bet365, betway, 1xbet, and a big etcetera.

I would like to talk about how you can use foreign bookies countries (to be honest this is for matched betting, and hopefully In my country I have access to exchanges and brokers).

There's a couple of websites based on UK to make matched betting (like oddsmonkey) , and I don't know if some bookies they show accept people from my country. And I have two scenarios:

1st Scenario - The website isn't blocked in my country:
There are some bookies like Coral, Skybet, Betvictor, Virgin bet I can access with no problem, but I don't know if I'll have problems when I need to withdraw some money. Or maybe when I have to send my KYC info they don't aprrove it

2nd Scenario: The website is blocked in my country:
This scenario is most difficult but I prefer to ask about it too. Sites like Betfred shows a message my country isn't available. In this case, if I use a VPN or Buy a UK Sim card with roaming, after that probably I will need to verify my account with KYC, There's a chance they accept me?

Honestly, the first scenario looks better but I'm afraid they put me problems with KYC or withdrawal.

Thanks in advance, I hope to be a contribution to this forum

Look Carl, all these that you write are useful and you have nice questions.
I believe that there are a lot of famous bookies that you will not have problem.

One solution is to test it yourself with small balances because if you bet outside your country you expand a lot.
Your sceptical is not bad if you want to expand to more bookies, but you are limited everywhere?
So i advise you first to use all available softs at your country or even exchanges/asians (if you have skills) and then go for this.

It is a nice subject for discussion and i believe a lot members interested.

Hey gamblehappier, I really appreciate your comment.

Yes, I think the best option should be test by myself with small amounts, I'll come back to this forum with info about every bookie I'll try.

Second, my intention is to try these bookies for matched betting or value betting, but if someone needs the info for another purpose feel free to join this thread.

Third, I only has been limited by four softs and I have a couple of bookies to continue applying my betting system, included Pinnacle and Betfair (For now, I'm in positive yield, but is not for brag about it, I know is very difficult to keep beating sharp bookies and exchanges)

Finally, I totally agree this could be a good subject for discussion so I hope more members join us. I am very thankful for your answer gamblehappier.

Greetings!

In the past i have personally tested some abroad books with small amounts and i do not have problem.Again with famous bookies that i know that pay.

My point is priority is important.Bet first at all softs at your country and then move to these abroad bookies. And your list of books should be careful in order to pay you.
Again it is a nice subject that can expand enough your business.

That's true, maybe I have to settle with bookies available in my country (that's a lot!) because other folks from others countries haven't the lucky to choose between a lot of bookies like me (even asian bookies and betfair, matchbook and smarkets as exchanges).

But I hope if any has the experience to open some bookie account outside the bookie's country, please feel free to comment here, maybe it could be useful for other mates
