The only downside of arbitrage betting business is..it's not very good for karma. So if you're making money by sports betting arbitrage, make donations to charity projects. I like to discuss/talk about it later in a separate subject.
Could you say a little more about this karma thing?

Do you feel it is bad karma to be taking money from the soft books, who are just not fast enough to update their lines?

Or that you are taking money from the squares more than the books?

Or do you have some other take on the karmic aspect of arbing or value betting, or betting in general?

I had a couple good years in arbing a few years back, and then I got banned from my soft books so that was that. Being from the U.S., there aren't as many books to use. But I took my modest amount that I made in arbing and rolled it into cryptocurrencies and made 20x my money in the 2017 bull run without doing anything. Then of course, I didn't get out at the top and it came back down a lot, but it is now coming back up for me.

It's easier and a lot less time consuming than arbing or value betting. I don't trade much. I just buy and hold and maybe flip from one to the other as one goes up and the other one dips.

I like arbing better than the ups and downs of value betting. I'm just a sore loser and always winning with arbing was sweet! Except those times where I made bonehead mistakes. OR when Books starting cancelling my winning side AFTER the event!

Now I just wager for fun once in a while and play the NFL SuperContests at BetOnline.ag or MyBookie.ag and the March Madness Bracket Contests with friends for fun.

Can you write what you used in the best place during the arbitration?
