Arbitrage or Value Betting?
Hello everyone, I want to start with sports betting and I don't know what to do. Start with arbitrage or value betting? I only have $300 budget to start. Which one is the best to start with a $300 budget? Also I am between two softwares Rebelbetting and AVO. I prefer AVO as a software but it uses only 4 of the bookmakers that I can use in my country Greece. Although I can find up to 30-50 bets per day in AVO so I think its enough. What is your opinion? Can anyone help me? Thanks

Re: Arbitrage or Value Betting?
If you arb with such a constrained budget you are going to have to move money constantly between bookmakers which is not optimal.
If you value bet, let's say you go aggressive with staking, doing 2% of your budget flat stake per bet at 5% average EV. If you place 50 bets per day you'll be expected to average roughly 15$/day, not counting software costs and bonuses. Also there will be a certain chance of you blowing your bankroll.
Your bookmaker accounts are valuable assets, constantly placing +EV bets will get them limited. Is it worth it to you to sacrifice your accounts for a chance at 15$ a day for a limited time? If yes, I would go with value betting.
If not, I would suggest raising your bankroll via other means, while reading this forum through, maybe doing a bit of paper trading, learning how certain markets work and then hitting bookmakers with a bigger bankroll.
