Be careful of Brokerstorm and Bookielink!

Tue May 16, 2023 7:04 am

I came across a forum post that mentioned Brokerstorm as the only broker that accepts laying on horse markets. I found a YouTube video where they promoted a platform called Whitehorse, so I decided to try it out and make a deposit. However, after registering and logging in, I found their website interface to be unappealing and unimpressive. Later, they informed me that Whitehorse was no longer active and offered me another product called Betnfair, which allowed laying on horse markets powered by Betdaq. Upon inspection, the liquidity and odds seemed worse than Betfair or Matchbook. I requested a refund and was surprised when they returned my money within a few hours. Usually, brokers require you to place bets and meet a turnover requirement before allowing you to withdraw your deposit, but Brokerstorm returned my money quickly without any issues.

After seeing their fast withdrawal speed, I decided to give their Betnfair platform another try and redeposited. However, after a week of trading, I found it difficult to match bets. I had to offer odds at least 1.0 lower than Betfair to get a matched bet, and out of 6-7 bets, only one or none were filled. I won two bets on Betnfair, one was on Real Madrid's draw no bet while in-play, and the other was on an early horse market lay and back horse. I won over 60 euros on each bet, totaling 137 euros in winnings. However, I encountered an issue when I decided to withdraw my winnings. Brokerstorm asked for KYC documents, which I promptly provided and got verified a few hours later. After three days of waiting, they sent me an email accusing me of fund passing and odds manipulation, and they closed my account without allowing me to take screenshots of my betting activities. They wanted to forfeit my entire balance of 537 euros, even though I only won 137 euros with two bets and deposited 400 euros initially. However, I had taken screenshots before placing any bets as a precaution.

Upon researching Brokerstorm deeply, I discovered that they frequently falsely accuse customers of fund passing and refuse to refund their money. I threatened to report them on every forum I knew and even listed all the forum names if they didn't return my money. After 24 hours of sending emails and threatening them, they finally asked me to send my KYC documents again, holding my passport and a paper with today's date. I sent them the documents, and they returned my money within the next 2-3 hours. It's clear they are afraid of bad publicity.

Although I got my money back, I don't feel safe with Brokerstorm. I'm considering warning others, but I'm hesitant because they have my documents. However, I believe I should warn people about this company because they could scam customers out of their money. If the next customer deposits a few thousand euros and doesn't know where to file a complaint, they might not get their money back. Therefore, I urge everyone to think twice before using Brokerstorm in the future.

PS: When they tried to forfeit my money, I researched their background and discovered that Bookerstorm and Bookielink are the same company with identical tactics. Additionally, I found out that there were people infiltrating forums who kept promoting Bookerstorm as being effective, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, trying it out was a big mistake.

Below is my statement and conversation with Brokerstorm.

They failed to provide me with a bet ID and simply accused me of engaging in fund passing without any evidence. Upon examining the images I posted, their responses seem highly suspicious, particularly given your repeated praise for Brokerstorm in previous posts. I find it peculiar that you were the first to respond to this thread and immediately mentioned their exceptional customer support and swift transaction processing. Are you affiliated with or employed by Brokerstorm? I apologize if my tone comes across as abrasive, but your consistent promotion of Brokerstorm raises questions.

Did you look into these previous cases?

Be patient my friend, the evidence is here. I would never be so bored as to create an account just to falsely accuse someone.
When Brokerstorm forfeited my money, I conducted extensive research on the internet. I came across your posts where you had praised Brokerstorm and had also mentioned Bookielink. Consequently, I went through all your posts and attempted to scan both websites.
There were some suspicious elements that caught my attention:
-I had already read your posts a few days ago, where you consistently praised Brokerstorm and also mentioned Bookielink. I was surprised to see that as soon as i posted about Brokerstorm today, you was the first one to come forward and defend them.
-Moreover, the names of the two companies, Brokerstorm and Bookielink, had similar first letters
-Lastly, I discovered that the privacy policy of both companies was identical.

Don't want to destroy your opinion, but
web.archive.org/web/20210613115215/bookielink.com/privacy-policy
betinasia.com/privacy_policy/

Last year, before updating the Website UI, they had in payment section mention of "BIA wallet" if you know you. It's normal to coppy terms and conditions and privacy policy.

I'm very grateful that I came across your story yesterday. I had a feeling that something about this company didn't seem right. After reading your story, it turns out that my intuition was correct. I also made a post about this nasty company on the forum.

Hello and hope everything is going well!

I’m taking this opportunity following the above posts to clarify a few things.

Despite the fact that the owner of Brokerstom is an EX-employee of Bookielink, Bookielink has nothing to do with Brokerstorm. Bookielink and Brokerstorm are two different companies.

Bookielink is a licensed Company established in 2016. Our terms and conditions are open to the public and they can be used/processed by anybody.

In regards to the above individual claiming that we have paid him €2,000 in order to write good comments again this has nothing to do with our Company. Our Company is not using such service for Marketing.

Since this has nothing to do with Bookielink, please let us know here to whom you have been in contact to from Bookielink and also share here your communication and the above mentioned offer for our in house review.
