This is a 15 year old account betting only trebles and above with long series of losses, no arbitrage, no value betting, no anything smart, with an average stake of just... 5 euros.
Any ideas?

The best but unlikely scenario is they are going to take license in your country so they close old accounts and later you can open a fresh one.

Did you ever login to your account from a public WiFi, or from a home where another account owner lives?

I never mixed my ΙPs with any public network and I am always absolutely careful with my Bet365 account. This is not the case guys.
I always used my Bet365 account for entertainment reasons, nothing professional here.

Re: Bet365 account closure
This is not a rare incident and If you exclude the IP mess there is no explanation for the account closure, other than the following:
I know Bet365 has regional managers for the big markets. For example, the UK, Italy, Greece, etc. These managers are left free to decide with their own criteria how to stop smart betting, and people that will not contribute to Bet365's profitability. Of course, you do contribute to Bet365's profitability, but most probably the regional manager applied a filter that caught you by mistake. If that filter caught 90 sharp bettors and 10 squares or recreational bettors like yourself, this is a damage he can accept.
If you ask these regional managers they will blame the Customer Service not doing their work properly, but believe me this has nothing to do with CS. In the end, they will find out what they are doing wrong, or maybe someone will whisper to them, and they will allow accounts like yours to breathe.
Of course, don't expect your account to be re-opened again as they will not admit to you or anyone else they are incapable of profiling accounts, but it would be clever for anyone willing to open a Bet365 account these days to simply wait till the bad weather goes.

Re: Bet365 account closure
I believe regional managers don't have the power to have a local policy. This is something centrally planed but of course you are right to say some times they make mistakes. They are getting better day by day, aren't they?
Traditional defences such as profiling players, blacklisting IP addresses and even device fingerprinting are no longer enough to build a solid defence. Forget iovation, this is one generation behind. Now there is something else more sophisticated than that. Failing to stop large-scale attacks damages their brand and their reputation, because people like Dober are caught in the fish nets together with the sharks. But I m sure they are ready to sacrifice some Dobers if they can hunt some sharks.

How would you explain that most of Bet365's raids are focusing on specific countries, leaving all others alone?
And of course we agree about Iovation. Bet365 has the resources to buy something more advanced than that, and I m sure they do. They could also build something unique and custom made for them. But most bookmakers, fighting for the every day living, are stuck in the old generation.

Re: Bet365 account closure
Thank you both for the provided educational material, really appreciate it.
But let's return back to the humble bettor that I am. How should I proceed?
Many thanks.

I am afraid that once your account is closed, there is nothing you can do to re-open it. But, if I were you, I would take the educational material so you don't get caught next time.

Bet365 knows what a legitimate customer looks like. When they see something not adding up they silently watch the account(s) for a very short period of time.
When they see a user behaving atypically, they decide what’s the best course of action. They either sanction this account only, or they are looking for clusters to put more accounts under the same category. Then they generate a complete breakdown of what happened. Learn where/how the incident originated and the size of the operations.
Dober's account, if legitimate, might be resembling to other accounts that do something far more dangerous than betting trebles and above, or...even more unbelievable...some sharks started betting trebles and above.

Could you guys stop educating Bet365 with your posts?
Now they know, that you know. Your posts could teach Bet365 to move one step forward. We don't need that.

Not true. The info I was given is not only about Bet365. For example, I am now searching who is using Iovation (old generation) and how to avoid it. I m ready to lose 1 account if I can save 30 other accounts with other bookmakers.
