Looks like they have stooped as low as the rest of the pack.
Account limitation prowess was at least half decent, when it came to football.
Me and other people i know used it as means to prolong the life of an account in the beginning. Even that is now dealt very aggressively as of the past few days, if it's not the most mainstream football matches.

Yesterday a few people also complained, that if they deposited about 1k eur or above at once, their accounts were restricted without play and further bets and deposits were forbidden. They were forced to withdraw their funds, having not made a single bet.

Besides that, i know a guy, who made a withdrawal to a closed bank account by mistake, which prompted the money to be returned by the bank to the bank account it was sent from (they use Earthport). The money was returned somewhere in July and still ''hasn't been located'' by Bet365, even though he saw in his bank statement, that the money was returned and he can actually prove it. If they are doing this nowadays as well, it's better to stay away altogether, even without considering their awful changes of policy in the last couple of years.

I confirm the idiotic behavior of bet365.I had an account registered earlier this year.I used this account only for fun bets on top football.Pre-match and live.Small bets up to 30 euros.I've never looked for top odds or wrong lines.Nothing to do with my business, really just fun betting on matches that are broadcast on TV.The account was a small +, something like 70-80 euros.I have deposited a total of three times amounts under 100 euros only with a debit card.About a week ago i received a phone call from them, it had never happened to me before. In that phone call, their agent told me that they were closing my account without appeal due to the fact that i was addicted to gambling. This, of course, is complete nonsense.Interestingly, the day after i received an e-mail from Skrill informing me that they were closing my account forever, guess what the reason is.That's right - Skrill is closing my account due to the fact that i was addicted to gambling !!!I STRONGLY EMPHASIZE, I HAVE NEVER USED THIS Skril FOR DEPOSIT IN Bet365 !!!That is, there should be no connection between my Skrill and my bet365!But everything that happened made me think that the two companies were not just sharing information. It may be paranoid, but I'm beginning to suspect that the two companies are actually the same company.

Leonbet, thank you for sharing this very interesting experience with these 2 companies.
I can assure you that PaySafe and Bet365 are 2 distinct companies and they don't own one another, even though there are rumors in the market about the opposite or a future deal between them. Let's not speculate here.

What might have happened, is that your account got caught by a big data company that shares info with both companies. This is just a guess, so don't take it for granted. I am also skeptical about the justification they gave you. After all, who ever visits Bet365's website, is doing it for gambling reasons, no matter how we wrap it up. On the other hand, Skrill's website could be visited for other reasons as well.

Did anyone ever experienced  this:
Today they locked my account, i cannot log in to it. On chat they tell me to give them my phone number, that they will call me in 18h london time.. in 16h london time, i am recieving email that they called me and noone replied. well thats a lie. they did't call me. Went again on chat, asked for their number,  I will call them, but NO. "the only way that this is going to be solved is by our relevant dept calling you on your number".
I told them ok call me now while we are on chat, but no, "noone is currently free" - we will call you as soon as possible.. I had some number of bet365 and called it, the machine told me that line doesnt work, and that i can contact them trough email or chat.

On one of old my account where I made many deposits and withdrawals through the years, I've changed my email address, also on its skrill I've changed the email (yes it still has skrill) however I kept the old email as secondary email. After this, I made a deposit with skrill.. some hours later I noticed, I can't bet, I can't deposit. On the chat said I have to complete the additional video verification on skrill. I decided to withdraw, but today I see it did not come out, now they say they will not send it until I don't complete this.. but why, by what right they ask this? OK, I can't deposit anymore, no problem, but send out my money. If I decide to close my skrill, then what would they say? I'm 99% sure this is because I changed the email, if I click on withdraw, I see "we may need to contact you about your withdrawal as it may be sprlit between payment methods" but I use only skrill.

Has anybody seen a bookie who asked to complete this additional video verification on skrill?

Update : bet365 sent out the money (without completing the video verification at skrill)

Did they really pay in Skrill? Which country do you come from and how old is that account? Was it opened before they shut PaySafe (Skrill and Neteller)
Thank you.
