Betfair accounts suspended, lots of reports on this on twitter currently
Has anyone had this happen and had them reactivated? Lots of people complaining they have had their accounts closed for no reason and they take forever to answer any questions and just say we're working on it leaving people accounts suspended for weeks or months.

My account was locked and closed after violating t&c but I wasn't informed what terms exactly. They even didn't inform me that they closed my account. I had over 60k there but because of covid I had to stop my action there. I have contacted them many times but I was treated like a piece of shit every time. Finally after 2 weeks they gave me my money still without notice.

I can only add that back in April I had a terrible experience with Betfair. Fully verified account of 17 years locked, requested reams of documents, evidence of 300 other bets at bookmakers. Showed them proof of 6 figures savings for SOW etc Couldnt provide evidence of 5 bets out of over 300 as were done in physical shops, so they closed my account.
Took 3 months and literally over 100 emails.
I called them "Betfair are scum" in my thread title lol

There's hope on that front then lol. As the other post I've posted today, do any agents let you live bet markets as you would on betfair with a live betfair account, or does no-one offer that?

Will have to find another one then. Somehow.. pretend to cut Dick off and call myself Sandra maybe, she'll have the same dob and probably live in a similar area. I use FairExchange, via PremiumTradings. Its literally Betfair, and has the same liquidity and markets as far as I can see, and inplay betting, but I find it harder to use because previously I was using Betfair via a trading tool (Fairbot).
With FX you dont get API access, have to use via the website.
They can provide you with a test account if you ask them, so you can have a look and make trades with fun money to see exactly how it works.

Betfair is the worst!!! Closed my account without reason and kept my money for 6 months!!! 1 week ago, after i contacted with Ibas my money returned to my account suddenly! I have an Orbit account now but i m thinking of a new Fair due to Orbit is a bit slow. Any suggestion for Fair account?

No warning at all. They just asked me once about my account and i send them that i am fully controlled etc. After 1or2 weeks they closed it. For no reason

hello, except for api, fairexchange doesn't have a cashout option.That's a big problem.I used to have an account and you are right .has the same liquidity and markets as Betfair, but due to no cashout i returned to my orbitx account.

The truth is that betfair has a terrible online support, i had tried few months ago to ask them to increase my exposure limit and i had to wait for 1 hour....

Only use Betfair if you can 100% prove all source of funding, and are prepared to give them reams of legit info.
I was legit, hence they reluctantly returned my balance. Anything remotely iffy, you are fooked!!
