Re: Betfair is back!
@GLopez Currently our Shark tool works only with the BetFair exchange.
@Andronius Our Shark tool allows you to bet on everything in the BetFair exchange with the exception of Greyhounds and Horse Racing.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Best regards,
George

With great pleasure I could announce that Betfair is available for every PremiumTradings member. We developed a tool which allows you to access all Betfair features (excluding Horses & Greyhounds) and place bets with single click on pre-game and live markets without exposing any personal information!
The requirements are:
• Minimum deposit 500 EUR
• 3.8% Commission charge deduction over winning tickets with each settled bet with winning outcome
• 0.2 % weekly commission charge over the Matched tickets for Shark Tool Usage
Hope that this will be in great convenience for most of you! Contact our support for detailed info.
Best Regards

Yes, it does give you access to betfair markets, like it says.
And you can place bets with one click ( although you get an annoying alert pop-up when it's placed, that freezes the browser ).
But, the overall experience is far inferior to the original website or any other betfair tool out there.
I assume when someone makes a tool for professional players, it should enable them to be more efficient, not the opposite.
Navigation is very counter-intuitive ( random sorting of markets/events )
You have to switch pages and manually refresh to see whether your bets are matched, and you cannot edit placed bets ( you have to cancel the previous one and place a new one ).
Also, there's a limitation of 60 seconds to place another bet in the same market.
And, the refresh rate of the prices is fixed at about 5 seconds, and there's no easy way to override that.
I hope that's all going to be "fixed" soon, but I have no idea what the roadmap is for features on this tool.
Maybe someone from PT can answer that?
Re: Betfair is back!
I used the tool for a few days. I'd say it's a "sloppy" UI on top of betfair's markets.zyz wrote: Anybody here using the tool?
It's worth it ?

Re: Betfair is back!
Hi guys,
Your comments are much appreciated. And I will be glad to give you some additional insight on the Shark Tool we are offering.
To begin with, the Shark tool itself was developed after our cooperation with Betfair was terminated, therefore we were looking for a fast and efficient way which would allow our customers to regain access to the Betfair exchange as soon as possible. A goal that we managed to achieve very quickly.
From there on we have put our efforts into constantly developing and improving the tool so as to deliver a reliable and safe solution. We have already implemented the option to cancel partially matched bets, which indicates our determination on expanding the capabilities of the Shark tool. Our next step would be to have a “cash out” feature. Rest assured that we will continue to add more and more features and to improve the UI and tool navigation with a steady pace.
Yet it is hard for us to compete with the existing API tools. However, this is not our purpose. Those have been developed as a trading tool while we answer to the needs of high volume punters. Therefore, we have a lot of other advantages over other Betfair API solutions. For example, unlike Geektoy and Bet Angel, there is no need for you to use your personal Betfair account with our Shark tool. Moreover, our account limits are much higher. Each of our existing Betfair accounts has a maximum limit of €50K. In addition to all this, please note that commercial tools are getting the assistance of Betfair while our business model is quite different and it won’t get Betfair’s approval, much less their cooperation.
I hope I have managed to make the subject a lot clearer. Nevertheless, should you have any additional questions don’t hesitate to PM me, or to get in touch with our customer support.
Best regards,
George

Re: Betfair is back!
Why are Betfair not keen to have you as a partner and value your business. You could bring them a lot of business and £££. I dont understand why they are being difficult and trying to shut you out?

Re: Betfair is back!
I was wondering about the following:
1) Is the liquidity the same as on BF?
2) If yes to 1 I assume that any change in liquidity at BF is automatically reflected on Shark. Is that correct?
3) Would the opposite of 2 be also correct? That is if I take my bet on Shark first will I effect the liquidity on BF as well?

Re: Betfair is back!
Hi Bubbles,
Your train of thought is heading in the right direction. Or more literally you are correct in all three of your deductions. The liquidity is the same as on BF as our Shark Tool and BF are basically one and the same. Therefore, changes in liquidity are reflected automatically in BF and in the Shark Tool.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind regards,
George
