Betfair seem to be doing a pricing trial for the next 6 months with 1% commission on certain sports and markets for customers currently on the Premium Charge. Details on https://twitter.com/PremiumCharged/stat ... 7569015808 and https://twitter.com/PremiumCharged/stat ... 8336319489.

It seems like in their wisdom Betfair have noticed that the Premium Charge isn't working. Pity it took them 8 years longer than everybody else to wake up and realise that. Just like the vast majority of other monopolistic companies, by the time they try and change their greedy ways when they realise their actions have been decimating their company, it's already way too late to recover the situation.

Do you guys use betfair exchange as the soft side in an arb?

depends on liquidity

50€ available? might very probably be a weak line

5k€ available? much more likely to be a sharp line... normally I wouldn't consider it the soft side

Due to regulatory factors, Betfair will be switching off our Exchange and Gaming products for Czech Republic customers starting December 31st 2016. The Betfair Sportsbook will still be available to customers in Czech Republic.

Todays next race at cheltenham, 300k on betfair to smarkets 1m. Smarkets have done it.

Unless they've got reliable and... available api they'll remain useless for a big chunk of ppl who do turnover at the races

Ended up about £150 down but it could have been over £1000.  Betfair couldnt have crashed at a worse time  2:57pm on Sat afternoon .

Caught me too but turned out in my favour. Pure luck though and no fun at all..

Anyone with an idea why they started cutting markets last days? Just few markets available, no HT markets at all, all of them going inplay. Noticed quite few games like this one, screen attached...

Almost all games for tomorrow first half markets removed. Betfair mirrors same? Cause I dont use any.

the more reason all these are becoming scarely, the exchange are supposed to be encouraging bets but for some reason they are acting even worst than the soft. Something is wrong
