Betfred

Tue Aug 23, 2022 11:28 am

My Betfred account was frozen 18 months ago pending an investigation into an alleged fixed soccer match.
Based on experience, can anyone tell me how much longer I can expect to wait?

Betred has held onto my stake as well as the potential winnings.

Thanks

18 months? You can say goodbye to your money already. Btw. what match was it? Huge stake? What a joke, what world we are live in when bookie can call any game "fixed" and steal customer money (cause witholding for almost two years for "investigation" is pure theft). You dont have a responsibility to monitor every game you watch/bet for any suspicious betting patterns, if they dont like odds movements or whatever they should just block a game, pull it instead of stealing cusomers money.

Yessentuki v krasnador last March.

They claim that the match is still under investigation by an outside governing body.

What advice I can give you, find someone who took bets with other bookie (exchange preferably) to find out if others are under investigation too. I guess they wont care even if you tell them other bookies settled this game long ago but worth a try imo.
