When you are experienced/successful arber/value bettor you become like an emotionless machine for sports.

All that matters is the maths and numbers so you become numb to any emotion like up or downswings.

I find this has now applied for me to all aspects of life i.e. i have no emotional highs or lows for anything and you can see through things in everyday life easily like scammers or you tube gurus or even being happy about a little thing in life that goes well for you.

i dont know the answer but i try to play sports and exercise and find hobbies/go travelling places that make me happy and ignore all the noise just like when arbing/betting.
These is more like a consequence of developing a sharp mind.
Arbing, valuebetting is one of the fastest way of doing it. Even faster than investing. Because you see the effect of actions in real time. The market is a living thing. And you have to become sharp to flow with it.

I suggest to find an alternative activity that gives the great emotions and some quantity of risk that makes the heart pump, and releases dopamine when completed.

for example extreme sports, motocross/enduro, snowboard etc

(i found out on myself that after i resumed my trading activity after many years, i had lost interest in my favourite hobbies, sports etc, because trading gave me more emotion. in general, the normal activities of daily life were flat and kind of boring. i think this is connected to the dopamine addiction that gambling gives. so now i'm trying to balance gambling with other aspects of life, otherwise it will take most of my time and energies away)
