are agents/brokers allowed for bettors within Bulgaria ?
I believe BetInAsia, Sportmarket and AsianConnect are there for you.
thanks for the reply. Reason I am asking (Steve, who I understand is in Bulgaria) is to find out whether the agents above are allowed and accessible (meaning no ISP blacklisting/VPN).
Agents are available in most places (by using vpn), but not allowed officially in many of them (unlicensed). So if you ment that they are allowed as well in Bulgaria, please confirm, thanks.

so I confirmed onsite that brokers are not blocked by ISPs in Sofia. Question now is how winnings from brokers are treated from the taxman in BG. Does it fall under the 10% income tax?

well i would assume without knowing your unique situation that the winnings would not be taxed by BG government.

I have lets say a big network in bulgaria but i attack the soft books only and i would not of chosen bulgaria unless i knew the tax for gambling was 0%

what I am getting at is the worst case scenario really. I am still to consult a BG lawyer/accountant on this. If the tax is 0%, the question would be if BG gov differentiates between winning from unlicensed books (that brokers certainly are) and licensed (soft) books.

Susie is there a way we can communicate off this thread? would like to ask few things about BG

You use sportmarket from within Serbia, without a vpn? Vulkan96 above mentions that ISP's block access and banks block deposits in Serbia.

I dont know that there will be anything i can particularly help you with. I have no need for brokers so have no experience to offer, when it comes to using banks with unlicensed gambling businesses in any country i think this is asking for trouble eventually.

Why not just use a broker from UK instead of all these balkan countries? i dont understand why you would want to be based there for this purpose? I have had banks claim i am using a personal account as a business account but certainly this does not cause any tax troubles.

That is true, if you try to use etc. bet365, you just get a page which says that the state says "nope youre not gonna "basically :). But i dont know how, but you can actually use sportmarket. I use it basically everyday. I dont make actual bets, bc i do valuebetting on soft bookies, but i do know people that do use it, and have done for a while.
