Change of Schedule

Fri Apr 25, 2014 2:07 pm

Image

You used to stay up allnight (4:00-4:30 AM or 3:00-3:30 AM depending on your time zone) because of NBA. Now, Since NBA Regular Season has ended and there isn't much arbing opportunities in playoffs, you can go to bed much more early. There's a change in tennis schedule also. There won't be any late night tennis tournaments (according to europe time zone) 'til 7 July for ATP and 28 July for WTA. It means, less night shift! You can wake up early and walk your dog, go play tennis, go to picnic with your children and enjoy the sun.

I don't say there isn't any arbing opportunities during playoffs. Maybe rare but (spotted some minor middle bets and arbs but very few when compared to regular season) still there will be some opportunities. But when there's only few games on board, it may not be worth of it to sacrifice your beautiful sleep.

We got football action goin' on non-stop 'til Mid-May. Let's have a look when football leagues are ending.

Image

03-04 May Netherlands
10-11 May Bundesliga
11-11 May Bundesliga II
10-11 May Premier League
10-11 May Portugal
17-18 May Turkey
17-18 May France
17-18 May Spain
17-18 May Italy

International Tournaments/Organizations & Tennis Grand Slams

Eurovisiong Song Contest Semi Finals 6-8 May
Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final 10 May
UEFA Europea League Final 14 May
Champions League Final 24 May
Roland Garros 25 May
World Cup Kickoff 12 June
Wimbledon 23 June
World Cup Final 13 July

If you think there will be a minibreak between end of leagues and start of World Cup, well you're wrong. Roland Garros will fill the gap! Roland Garros ends on 8th June. World Cup kickoff is scheduled 12 June!

World Cup Final is scheduled 13 July!

World Cup fixture is available at,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_FIFA_World_Cup

You can sacrifice last week of World Cup since there will be only 4 games. (Match 61-62-63-64)

As you can see, there will be a 2 day break again between Quarter Finals and Semi Final. This period may be a good time to plan your vacation.

July is best time to go vacation for an arber..

We're coming to end of season. We can call World Cup Final as Season Final I guess. I wish everyone a profitable Season Final!

maybe nightshift isn't so bad? in uk where the summers can be ok, sometimes, it is not easy to sit at computer
hunting for arbs when it is a beautiful day, when we have been used to horrible weather thankfully the quiet time
for arbing coincides with our best weather, but in an ideal world evening time is best for arbing, maybe uk + 4hrs
is ideal maybe that is why NBA and other American sports are not so popular with uk arbers?

I have to say, those int'l friendlies, low-youth-leagues, women leagues etc, they make some weekdays better than weekends.. 8)

If you can find decent limits for these (U18, U19, Women Russian 2nd league etc), then these are golden. Line movements can be massive.

Baseball is good specially over/under arbs. But did you noticed baseball arbs usually appear early (mostly before nightfall) so you don't need to stay up all night to wait for arbs. Sure, you can find more arbing opportunities if you wait 'til last game but even if you don't, still you can make decent baseball arbs by staying up only 'til midnight.

what's the deal with starting pitchers in baseball and the rules? i got scared of betfair rules one day where it says 'all bets void if the pitcher doesn't start'.

i haven't really watched much baseball and don't know how often that happens.

Is it a risk?

That is not true. Some of them dont care about starting pitchers and let the bets stand.

i think you'll change your mind about this if you read up on rain suspensions, the MLB based on the score either declaring official results after 5 innings, cancelling the game entirely or suspend it till the next day, and the way bookies handle these kinds of situations differently.

Rain suspension can be easily voided by looking to weather report. Or if game is being played in a dome stadium, there won't be any rain/weather effect at all.

Some books have different rules for starting pitchers. Make sure you're using same options in both books, like Listed/Listed or Action/Action.

Ah, one more thing you must be careful about,

If you're parlaying your arbs, make sure your 1st leg of parlay is not a baseball game. No problem if last leg of parlay is a baseball game. Reason, you can never know when a baseball game will end if it goes to extra innings. Not to mention, rain delay may extend game's duration.

true, but if a simple rain report scares you enough to leave a game alone, you're leaving money on the table imo. lots of rain somewhere in north america all the time.

off-topic:  i never understood why in general baseball teams in the southern USA (where it never rains) mostly have domes, and teams in the northern USA (where it always rains) have not.

Vinci,

Not many rainout games during summer. Mostly in april and september. In addition, if bookie rules are same, even a rainout game won't effect you. Just like tennis, make sure mixed rules don't effect you in a bad way and you'll be fine.
