cross markets middles

Mon Dec 02, 2013 11:45 am

Have you ever played cross markets middles??

For example:

Over 2.0
Under 2.0
and instead of "exactly two goals", play "even"

I think there are nice chances to hit it.

What do you think about it?

I don't see it working and i don't think you will find a scenario where it would be even close to breakeven. However, if you do find something good it is because A) there is high value in the O/U arb and you are better off placing a small bet on "exactly two goals" B) there is high value in the "even" and you are better off covering it with "odd".
I mean if i find an arb and a middle on the same bet, with similar value, i always choose the arb, it's less variance.

When I arb U/O 2.0, U/O 3.0 etc I always place part of the "secure winnings" in the "exactly goals" but I am starting to place in Odd/even althought as you well know the odds are lower, but you can hit two bets.

Anyway when you arb an U/O 2.0 the results 2-0, 0-2 or 1-1 are f****ing annoying. I don't want my money back without benefits.

Hope I explained well.

Over 2 @ 2.05 * 1,000 euro
under 2 @ 2.05 * 1.000 euro

If it is exactly 2 goals , then we profit a big shit. So,there is a solution to profit something instead of a big shit.
So ,we divide 50 EUROS by "exactly 2 goals" odd (let's say it is 2.50) and that is the stake we put for exactly 2 goals.
50/2.50 = 20 EUROS , which mean that whatever the result we win 30 EUROS... this is the way i do it and i think this is your way too :P

That is the normal procedure.

Imagine instead betting 20 euros yo bet those 20 euros in "Even" with odds 1.90 (if you wait them to score one goal odds are better)

For scores  1:1, 2:0 or 0:2 you will win just 18 euros but if the result is 0:0, you will hit two bets, "under 2.0" and "even"

If the result is 0:0, 3:1, 4:0, 2:4, etc  you will hit two bets, "over 2.0" and "even"

I think is a good strategy, I am trying it.

May I ask which alert service provides arbs with o/u 2 goals?  What I have seen is for example O2 at Pinnacle and under 1.5 and under 2.5 at soft book. I don't remember to have seen over/under 2 market at soft book, at least those I have been using.
