Ecopayz (new) geo-restrictions (Italy)

Sat Nov 13, 2021 11:03 am

Hello guys, since some months I'm having problems to use Ecopayz with bookies/agents, due to some new geo-restrictions involving Ecopayz-Italy. Don't know if same apply to any other EU country.

In april 2021 my withdrawal request via Ecopayz was rejected by Pinnacle, but after some pressure on their CS/payment department I was able to keep it only as withdrawal method but not as deposit anymore.

After this, in september/october 2021 I was trying to withdraw from Spassino (bookie), where I deposited with same Ecopayz some months before and they refused for same reason (new geo restrictions on Ecopayz side).

Few days ago I tried again withdrawing from Pinnacle and this time refused againa and no chance to obtain nothing as I did in april. They even removed Ecopayz from available methods at all.

To be sure about this, I asked a withdrawal from Sportmarket and they told me same thing :
"Kindly note that your withdrawal has been cancelled due to geo-restrictions imposed by Ecopayz. Your funds are moved back to your Main Sportmarket account.
With this respect we would kindly ask you to submit new withdrawal request via Muchbetter account and our Finance department will attend to is as soon as possible".

This is all. In few words my Ecopayz account became useless in few months, as I can't use with any serious book/agent anymore. But I really can't understand reason, haven't seen any new regulation about it etc as Muchbetter and (shitty) Skrill-Neteller are still working.

Someone can really explain me? Or bring under this 3d his experience from other EU countries with Ecopayz? Thank you

I will raise a question to our ecoPayz manager and come back to you with a statement as soon as I have it.

Thanks, very curious to understand it depper. To me it looks just a suicide move from them, as Muchebbeter, Skrill and Neteller are still operating in same market

We have a comment from our ecoPayz manager in regards to the problems that you are facing and reporting.
If a merchant doesn't have a license in a specific country, the ecoPayz will not be available for that country.
So it would depend on both the country and the merchant.

I hope that helps.
