Feedback on RebelBetting please

Sun May 14, 2017 11:57 am

Hi everyone.

This is my first post on Arbusers, and it's great to find a community of like minded people.

I subscribed to RebelBetting a couple of weeks ago, and since then have been 'paper trading' to get used to the software and the bookie's sites. I have a couple of questions that I would be grateful to receive some feedback on.

1) I've opened accounts with all of the bookies listed in the software (at least all of the ones I can open due to my location) but I am finding mixed results when I click on the bet button with regards to the way the bookie's web pages open in the software. Some open up, log in and produce a betting slip already filled in, some open up, log in but do not produce a betting slip so I have to search for the correct bet, some do not log in at all and one crashes every time. I've resorted to having two lists, one of the bookie's sites that work well and the other of bookie's sites that do not. For the latter list I have created favourites for each in my browser (Firefox), so when I receive an arb in the software, I open up the bookie's website independently and look for the required bet. As you can imagine, this can take a while, within which time the odds sometimes change.

2) I've selected to only receive arbs between 2 and 4%, to make it worthwhile placing the trade, whilst also reducing the chance of palps and highlighting my activity to the bookies. However, I have noticed that the majority of the arbs I am receiving are from the same bookies. My concern is that if I keep placing bets with these bookies I'm going to get identified as an arber and have my accounts limited or cancelled.

I have been in contact with RebelBetting and they have been very helpful. However, with it generally taking 24 hours to get a response to an answer or question it is taking some time to get results. Hence my post today.

This is not meant to be a criticism of the RebelBetting software, as when it work it works really well. It may be the case that the 'problems' I am experiencing are normal, in which case I just need to make the best of it and get on with it. However, if they are not I would really like to know.

Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Regards, Moss

PS Apologies if this is a rather long post from a Newbie!

The best piece of advice i could give you is to leave alert services alone for at least 6 months. That way you will see alert services as an additional tool rather than the only tool. At this point i should say something about horses and how its better for them to learn lest they get thirsty again.
