I would be very careful with this strategy. If the underdog wins you'll end up with more money where you don't want it to be, and will need to move even more money, thus paying more fees / wasting more time / raising more alarms / etc.

yeah definitely agree.  these kinds of "strategies" show a lack of understanding of what edge on your bets (or in this case, lack thereof) really entails.  when you use it to move money to avoid a withdrawal I guess the consequences are limited (and you'll just find the hard way long term it doesn't work);  when you do it to move money out of slowpaying books, then it's a one way ticket to the poorhouse.

Have to agree that suggesting using betting on high odds to transfer money from one book to another is terrible advice.  Would expext better from a professional arb finder service!

Hey guys. You are of course correct that the underdog might win. In that case, you may end up with a lot of money on the bookmaker you wanted to transfer from. This is just to be seen as an alternative method that one can use occasionally. You can, of course, withdraw/deposit as usual but be aware of transaction fees bookmakers apply when you deposit and withdraw. Better is of course if you always have some funds left in your e-wallet/credit card to balance your accounts. :)

while one could indeed use this method occassionally, one shouldn't as it's a method that makes no sense.

Cross market arbs
Cross market arbs are a mix of two or more different markets. There are many possible combinations which can result in an arbitrage.
The example below illustrates a basic combination and how to calculate the results.

How high arbs do you bet on? ????

It would be interesting to know your thoughts.

Trying to go after the highest arbs all the time is usually not a good strategy in the long run. The reason is that high arbs have a higher risk of including odds that are bookmaker mistakes, or so called palpable errors. Sometimes, the bookmaker will even void your bet. While they do pay you back your stake, it can still cost you if the voided bet was the winning one.
