That was a very promising thread that could force people with knowledge to share it. Pity it ended like this.

I could say its possible,i started with 50€ and in 2 years i earned 120k,but this was 7 years ago and i wasn't arbing just valubetting but if you give me 12k now with knowlege from 7 years ago i ll maybe earn 20k a year.First of all i learn all things by myself, maybe after 3 years of my betting i found out about this great forum that help me a lot in future.Behind this was hard work 350+ days in year working with 10-12h a day. There was days that i was working 20h a day and 140h a week to maintain my earnings and continue with develop as arber/valuebettor.If i had this knowledge 7 years ago that i know now i ll be in retirement 2-3 years ago.
One thing that i dont like is your behavior and wishing somebody not good in life.I personally meet Yorkyoss and he is nice guy who stayed in this for years and his words have grounds,i believe you had burn a lot of bridges acting like this.
I can tell you from my experience that few time in my career when i hit the wall there was few great guys here who helped me and we all have some benefits from sharing our knowledge but our start was always honest and with lot of respect.
One thing for the end,we have saying in my country:nice words can open all the doors.

Well, as I would really like to be helped, as the more I learn the more I feel how difficult a task it is, let's try your magic formula :

Hello Kitty! Rainbow unicorn! Flowers! Serendipity (yes I found this word lovely :P )! Sun shine and birds singing!

I hope that will work and that somebody (everybody?) will give me a complete course on how to become a good arber :)

@kapetan, I'm taking it lightly, but YES, I do want to learn, YES I'm prepared to do my share and work for hours, YES politeness IS paramount, YES, I hope it will be rewarding for both of us (but if you are already successful arber, maybe I'll not have much to offer you).
So please, if someone would be OK to train a willing student, that will do his best to learn but also to find by himself and give back, do contact me.

Not to be annoying, but I doubt anyone who is good at this and makes a living out of it, will be willing to help you out.  Every new arber is just 1 more competitor really...

Good advice would be to just start out with small amounts and see how it goes and if it's for you.  As you gain experience, you'll find out if you'll be able to make a living out of it or not.
