How much money?

Fri Feb 21, 2014 12:54 am

Hy all,i would like to know with how much money you feel safe on your bookies account?
I dont mean some small bookmaker,i mean bet365,willhill,ladbrokes?
I dont mention asians or pinny because money there is like at bank.
If your account is verified and you have all papers do you feel ok to have 10-20k there or you play till you got limited even if you have more than that amount?

I feel safe at bet365 or william hill. also bwin.
It's just my perception. Maybe I'm wrong.

I feel it's safe if the account is really mine and I have all the documentation to prove it. Not that much for a friends account.
But I wouldn't leave 20k or 30k in one of them if my whole balance is 40k or if my accounts are limited.

With the bookmacher mentioned you can be safe, but if the money doesn't work all the time, it will be better to withdraw them.

Big mistake. Such bookmakers are the prime target of the Big Man, especially if they unofficially accept USA players ( Pinnacle and other agent based private bookmakers I am looking at you! ). When they go down, your money is gone, forever. Remember the poker sites raid a few years ago?

Sharp books are safe imo. There had been times where I had more then 50k € in sharp books.
However, be careful about soft books. Won't feel comfortable if I have more then 5k in these. So don't keep above 4-5k in softbooks. If it's not a well-known bookie, then don't keep above 3k.

But don't you have more than 5k on soft books?
How can your turnover be more than 700k on softbooks on a month without more than 5k on any?

LoL, I mean 3-5k for a single book of course. You have many softbook accounts with different balances. May be risky to keep above 3-5k in a softbook. There's payout complaints in SBR about many softbooks, even well-known ones..
