A Turk pretending being an asylum seeker, killed an OPAP shop owner during a robbery in an Athens suburb yesterday night. He stubbed the 61 y.o man more than 30 times. Among his swag it was a winning betting slip that was paid by the shop to a client just minutes before the crime.
The Turk believed he could have a little extra something and went to another OPAP shop, this time in central Athens in order to collect the winnings. However, the police was quick enough to alert OPAP about the missing betting slip asking the bookmaker to report when this slip would appear for the second time in the terminals.
Surprise-surprise, the Turk was arrested today inside the betting shop by the police, having in his pockets part of the money he took the previous night, and the winning ticket.

What a crazy story… not only murdering someone, but also sticking around and going to collect your winnings like nothing had happened!
What a psycho.
What a psycho.

What to say after this?!!
Such a tragedy and loss of a life for nothing considering the greed and the stupidity of the murderer!!
I just hope he will not be out in a few yrs , however a lot of bad things can happen when in prison , even in a Greek one
