Exchanges / Re: Betfairs new commission offer
« on: July 15, 2019, 03:11:02 PM »
You're lucky if you get 2% offer. My personal betfair account has to pay 20% - 22.5% commission because of premium charge.

True, but there is a reason you're paying such high fees... ;) Not saying I support Premium Charge, but paying it at least tells us that you're winning quite big.

...but Premium Charge is of net winnings lifetime, so you don't pay commission in the bad periods, am I right?

The two other options, was they close to the same value as the 2% flat offer? I've not seen these myself, but I guess 2% flat would be the best pick for a player with a certain volume?

Yes. Seems to be the new standard at betfair. I am at 2% flat for several months now.

How did you get this offer?

Wrong lines=objective issue, it's ok to void and it's normal we have not to take them.

I do agree with you a little bit, but even wrong lines - As long as they're not VERY wrong (If you had like 1-3% it's not very wrong), I can't see how they are allowed to void bets. Yes, they have their rules, but it's still not fair at all. And it also give them the chance to use it against sharp players - But of course just by "freerolling" the bets against them - Criminal in my eyes.

Btw: "Abnormal"... all bets that are sharp could be "abnormal" since just a minority of the players are able to find these. If they're allowed to use this argument they can simply do whatever they want.

Extremely frustrating to hear this - And when you got 3 voided bets in a few days it can't be a coincidence.

Terrible: 3 matches voided after 1-2 days (via Black platform), no pulp, just 1-3% Strom-molde (bet placed on 19th), Dallas-Toronto (on 20th), Sandefjord-Ullen (yesterday afternoon) all voided this morning by Sbobet...no words, I get one void a year because of pulps. I really don't know what's happening with Sbobet.

Voiding bets like this sounds very strange, but even more frightening - The least we could expect is an explanation? Nothing for any of these 3? The last thing we want is to be afraid of getting bets voided. Does this ever happend when a bet lose? (I have never experienced it). It's corrupt.

It seems like everyone has lower odds on SBOBet when logged in - At least we get the best odds through agents... but I don't like reading all this voiding stuff.

A little correction of this; For me it's 2% lower odds on all low margin markets (Usually asian handicaps and over\under). Example: If SBO offers 2,25 through agent I get 2,22 directly on their site. I also found another example now where I get 2,53 when they offer 2,58 through agent.

A little funny thing; When I'm not logged in at SBOBet they show the same odds as they do through the agents. So I don't know if this action has been made on all accounts.

Interesting, maybe they just take their odds and bet against you themselves.

True.

Would have been interesting if more people could check if they have the same issue; Since the odds are better when not logged in, it may not affect everyone.

With agent you get 0,02 better odds at AH, but can bet 1\2 stake.

Arbing, matched betting and trading talk / Re: Possible fixed match

Pinnacle just voided me 3 bets done on 28th may (they were on 1 and 2) and let another one made two day ago running. Risking big stakes on matches like that don't let me stay calm.

The match was originally scheduled June 2nd and was postponed to June 4th (This happend June 1st). I think that's why the bets were voided? (Don't know why they kept one open).

I also had bets on this match, but all bets made before the weekend (sharps) were voided.

Maybe there could be a compromise in re-activating the PM feature for members that have a minimum amount of posts and have been registered for at least X time?

Good idea.

General talk about betting agents / Betting Agents - Currency
« on: May 21, 2019, 12:30:04 PM »
Hi,

Is there any bettingagent (Like Sportmarket, BetinAsia etc) that offer other valutas than USD\EUR\GBP\BTC?

Sportmarket earlier had a lot of options, but they ended this in December  :-\

Betfair is not the most fair, it's just the most not unfair at this moment in time.

I agree.

On the other side, Matchbook (And Smarkets)... they pretty much catch everyone with a certain volume, am I right?

Actually Betfair seems most fair at this point.

Exchanges / Betfair - Premium Charge
« on: May 14, 2019, 08:29:27 PM »
Hi,

Premium Charge - As I've understood Betfair's rules about this - This is most likely to happend to a very strong trader or extremely strong valuebettor - Or an "unlucky" arber (Who have won to much on the sharp side...). You need to do this if I've understood correct; Have paid less than 20% of your lifetime profit in “total charges”.

So theoretically if I'm +5% lifetime PURE VALUEBETTOR, I probably should not pay Premium Charge, am I right? In that case you most probably have paid more than 2% of the profits in charges.

...Please correct me if this is wrong - I'm not very experienced at Betfair, even though I've used it for some years (Used the other exchanges more).

Any thoughts appreciated,
Shawn

Pinnacle, SBO, 12Bet and betting exchanges like Smarkets, Matchbook, Betfair, possibly some asian ones but they need an agent and can void bets for no reason.

12Bet? Do they not limit?
