Bookies discussion / Re: My SBObet's max limit suddenly been reduced.

Get out of that book, the end is nigh when books start voiding bets and imposing silly limits and cheat on their odds.

Your problem is not so much agents (Who only offer sharp books and exchanges), but that you need many soft books to be able to do surebets with.

Its these soft books (Will Hill, Sky, Bet365, Unibet etc) that have the weak odds, cannot arb without them.

Anyone noticing faster limitation of bet365 this period ?

My poor old B365 account has been limited to 0.1% for 10 years now. Still use it occasionally on big soccer matches.

I think that ship has long sailed.   Credit card companies are very wise to this these days classifying anything that could rack up spending/points as a cash advance.  However if you discover a trick I would keep it to yourself and not post it on here lol

The days before credit card companies treated gambling transactions as cash advances were golden.  I still have many 1st class flights to take on Virgin and BA lol

Keep reading about these funds confiscations from Agent Betfair products, and even Betfair themselves lately.

I bitterly distrust Betfair, and view them as a necessary evil in the arbing world.  They are as bent as they come, totally clueless when it comes to support and even running their exchange properly (Incorrect markets, Incorrect start times, settling errors, unfair voided bets etc etc).  Their support staff are completely useless and have no idea what they are talking about 99% of the time.

And as for these "confiscations", I doubt very much whether they are in any way appropriate or fair, rather its smart players catching their sloppy traders out etc. I honestly view them as rogue, and have been for a few years now.

I am all for fraudsters to have their funds taken and given to charity, but I do not believe with an exchange that it is targeted by fraudsters as there is no need to circumvent limits, use gnomes etc

Value betting talk / Re: 10 Months Value Betting Journey - 32K Profit

Lets not beat around the bush.  Having 100s of fresh accounts/gnomes would make any member on here with a decent bank and experience six figures easily.

If you can make £32K on a single account by value betting, then you have found a really good niche, but bragging about what is frankly a pathetic amount with 100s of fresh accounts is pathetic!

Voiding perfectly normal bets is an action of a rogue book. Singbet is a rogue bookmaker, should be blacklisted and brokers should not be using them.

From looking at your betting history, Fairexchange are trying to steal your money!!

I guess because you have won big, and they have taken some or all of your action, they dont want to pay you, rogue IMO

Newbie's questions / Re: Laying a horse without Betfair ?

With the overound backing all other horses will cost you dearly!

Not nice reading at all.

OP were these arbs, trading.   Did you do any bets that were likely to be classed as passing funds, IE putting up terrible odds in a quiet market which were taken in full.  Things like that would cause an investigation.

But if all your betting was in liquid markets then its just theft and I hope you can take this further somehow and get your money back.  SBR complaints forum may be of use to you.

Just hope that you dont get the dreaded "source of wealth" email and then several weeks/months of BS and frozen funds trying to satisfy them!

From reading many bad things about SBO recently I would say they have gone borderline rogue and best to be avoided

Yeah you are right, but its amazing how things go either really well or really bloody bad sometimes!!
