Live-arbitrage guide

Wed Oct 16, 2013 3:16 pm

Well, I decided to write short, but I guess comprehensive live-betting guide with two articles already published and few more written and waiting for publishing (they should be published every day) so if anyone is interested to read them, you are most welcome.

Also if one would like to contribute and write anything else himself, feel free and either post here or contact me so I will post it on the blog.

From your post: "Quite difficult / experience and high speed required when placing bets / danger zones add some risk factor / no 100% accurate alert service available (OddStorm.com closest to perfection)"

Quite strange you start to promote oddstorm while you begin to cooperate... ;)

Oddstorm is not even 100 miles away from perfection.

I wonder how many of them will be cut  off by bookmakers. Some of them already made changes and blocked odds for certain disciplines day or too ago.

Oddstorm is the best tool when it comes to live arbitrage. 2nd best tool is miles behind. The issue here is that seats are numbered.

I've never had any help from oddsservices when it comes to live-arbing. Thats beacause they were too slow, and had too many errors and because they were too expensive. Are there any successful live-arbers here using those services?

Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.

I would say he is doing whatever he thinks is most profitable.

If you had a stake in a Live Arbitrage alert service the logical thing is to try and drive custom to your service.
Free education in how to Live-Arb seems like a good way in doing that (especially considering the pressures on the traditional arbitrage field).

A blow to those already in the Live-Arb field though as their piece of the pie is likely to diminish.

As a live-arber , i would say that this article is the worst i have ever read and if you follow these advices your balance will go negative ( i am referring to football, don't know about other sports)

90-95% of the bets combination is "Over at asians" - "under at europeans" and at this part the advice you gave is totally wrong. If you place over first and you wait till your bet is confirmed (due to pending time) , under will drop massively  because pending time is normally 10-20 sec,but it might take also 1-2 min,and in the end  you will have a negative arb.
5-10% of the bets combination is "under at asians" - "over at europeans" and at this part you gave a right advice.Europeans have a countdown of 5-6 sec, under might drop a little , but you will not have a negative arb at the end ( as long as you don't take 1-2% arbs),your arb will only get lower, let's say from 5% to 3%.

I have bolded the big difference.

Come on guys he is only giving general advice to help people start. We all know there is a lot more to it. I thought the purpose of the forum was to share ideas.
When did live arbing become such a taboo? At the end of the day he is not really posting anything here, only links.

Also none of this really works outside football.

Mate, giving this advice : "you must place firstly over at asians and when it gets confirmed, then you place under at europeans"...this advice will ruin your balance !

Try it and you will see what i am talking about.

Bri999, Aegist was never running arbforum even though he was a moderator among others. Definetily, the policy of arbforum was not dictated by Aegist. Aegist has his own website that you can find here: http://arbusers.com/index.php/topic,73.0.html
Now, all the rest is debatable, but close to reality.
