You have to rephrase your question. What do you mean limit profit?

Re: Personal limits - profit
80% of my profit comes on a Saturday, so im on the PC from 5AM all day on Saturdays. Sunday also is busy up to mid afternoon then normally have a nice evening off.
Other days I may or may not bother, if something is on that I make money from I will be on as long as I am earning.

Re: Personal limits - profit
Some days can be really really good, while some can be bad.
No much sense to stop your workday if you hit a jackpot early, or continue until late evening if the day is dry.
In fact the opposite makes sense, since a dry day means boredom and you are more likely to lose focus, and a good day will keep you energised and focus to make even more!
Im guessing thats how dealer wins finds the energy to arb for god knows how long each saturday

No point in setting profit limits. Just arrange your schedule so that you work when €/hour is at the highest points.

Re: Personal limits - profit
I have a weekly and monthly target...which is usually reached on a Saturday so most other days, if the target was reached, I just take off.

Re: Personal limits - profit
If you do this for a living, you should probably set time targets rather than profit targets,
for example a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week ...
(and see which hours / days of week are most profitable for you).

Or a monthly target. Daily target might get you quite annoyed if unreached. And there are different days.

Re: Personal limits - profit
For me I never set a target (Had my life's fill of targets during my banking career!!)
Some weeks I will make £1000+, others maybe as low as £50.
Work when there is money to be made, enjoy the quiet days/weeks by relaxing and giving my eyes and brain a rest!!
