automatic odds adjustment is not a feature. Its everything serious gamblers do not want. we need to know our odds before any bet is accepted. Are you classing yourself as a sharp bookie where winners are welcome. Do you ever offer odds better than pinnacle?

Hi David,

Sorry, when I said automatic odds adjustment, I meant before you press the "Place Bet" button, not afterwards which I can agree would be unwanted. The reason behind this is to allow larger bets (above what would otherwise be a max bet at the current odds) without any referrals or requirement to split the bet.

Yes, winners are welcome. All bets that are on offer are on offer to all punters equally. We do not intend to limit, factor or close accounts if they are winning.

Our odds will always differ (better or worse dependent upon chosen selection) from other books as they are our own and take into account the risk management of our own book position.

Many thanks

Hi David,

No worries. Quite a quiet week this week with Monterrey and Kuala Lumpur (WTA) and Quimper (Challenger) although we will be offering some Davis Cup this weekend as well.

Then next week we see the start of Indian Wells where for the first time we will be offering qualifiers from Monday.

Many thanks

Hi blackjim,

I'm sure you are looking for comments from users rather than ourselves, but also we are happy to answer any questions you might have.

Many thanks

So, from what I've seen in today's live ATP and WTA markets, you have a good margin while the point is not in-play ( on par with pinnacle ) but as soon as the point starts, you increase that margin A LOT. ( for example, from 97% payout, it will go to 91%! )
Is there a reason for that? Will that be eliminated over time and provide a consistent margin like most companies do?

Hi blackjim,

Thanks for your feedback. Originally, once a point was in-play we were taking down our prices completely but we wanted to offer a better experience than that and so we moved to put up the effective outside "next point" prices whilst the point is in-play.

This means that if the market odds are not particularly sensitive to the current point in-play, say a Next Game Winner market, then once the point is in-play, the odds only widen very slightly. Conversely, Match Winner odds when a point is in-play in a tie-break for example, will be quite wide.

As soon as the point is complete we revert to the hopefully, very competitive margin as you mention.

Hope this helps, many thanks

I see.
I get that being a new company you want to protect yourself.
But when you want to attract serious players, you cannot possibly say that offering reduced odds while in play, is offering a "better experience".
It's obviously an advantage for JAbet to be safe during the game. But definitely not a good thing for the client.

Your competition ( every other company ) does not do that. They offer consistent prices.
So my opinion is that you shouldn't do that. Maybe for a critical point of the game ( a set point for example ) but definitely not in every single point.
I hope you reconsider that.

Hi All,

Just a quick update to say that we have now added Neteller to complement Skrill as wallet options on our site. We have also this week, introduced pre-off odds on many upcoming tennis matches.

In the near future we will also be updating our bet placement operations to enable even quicker bet matching and will be trialling individual Point Winner markets.

As ever, we are more than happy to answer any questions and receive any feedback and open to any advice on how we can improve things in the future.

Our arber-friendly interface continues to gain more of an audience and with our introduction of pre-off we will be speaking again with the surebet providers to see if we can integrate with one or more of them.

Many thanks,
JAbet

The markets are much better now. But still I need to see tighter odds.

Hi,

Do you mean as the point goes in-play? Indeed we are still looking at better ways to manage this process. We wanted to offer an alternative to the often disappearing prices on many books sites (or post bet matching cancellations should a significant event occur) and so we do widen the prices to where they would go to on the result of the point being won by either player.

This means that for say a Next Game Winner market (one of the most popular), then our prices can stay very consistent and always on offer as the prices are very insensitive to the outcome of the current point being played.

We try to do this so we can keep our normal prices (in between points) to the tightest in the market. If we had wider margins, we might be able to leave them at that level during a point in-play but we are trying to offer tighter margins than the rest of the market and because of this we then need to incorporate some protection whilst a point is being played but not of course, in between points.

Having said that, we are working on ways to make this better, including reducing or eliminating any bet matching delay whilst a point is in-play as the secondary protection is no longer required.

Many thanks

Hi,

That was actually:

Julia Goerges Back 1.45, Lay 1.52
Lesia Tsurenko Back 2.94, Lay 3.25

Sorry if the display was confusing?

Many thanks,
