Hi guys,
Last night I placed 90€ on odds 9,8 @leonbets, and I was lucky enough to win.
This morning I checked my balance and I saw that they paid out the bet and my balance was 1k+.
A few hours later I checked the bookie again, only to find out that they changed the odds to 4,17 and settled the bet agains those odds, which means they stole more than 500€ from me.
I know that bookies sometimes cancel a bet, even after a match, but I have never had a bet settled first and paid out only to find out after a few hours that the bet changed odds and my balance was changed.
In my opinion this means they just stole 500€ from my balance!
What are my options? Do I have a case and where can I file a complaint (SBR?)...
Thanks guys...
Edit:
Some more info.
Response from LeonBets:
According to our Rules:
1.13 The calculation of the bet basing on the average market rate of the odds. The Sportsbook holds the right to recalculate the client's bet in case originally proposed odds were considered incorrect (overestimated or underestimated). In this case the bet can be recounted based on the average market rate that is the average mean of outcomes provided by other sportsbooks.
I do understand that they can change the odds, but can they do this after they already paid and aren't they, by doing this, actually stealing money from my account? What if I had withdrawn the money?

Re: Leonbets stole around 500€ from me - need advice
I hope you have some screens. Recalculating the odds before or after the match is unfair, if the odds are wrong they should void the bet before the match, like all other bookies do. Extremely unethical would be to change the odds after the event once the bet is already settled as a winner. I'am not quite sure if this is even legal from the bookies.
You can try to submit a sbr complaint form or open a thread on their forum, you can contact betting authorities, recheck their general TC if you can find anything in your favour there.

its as tricky as another rule stating that the bookie has the right to request ANY other document for verifying your account. skrill transactions for example. thats illegal too.
Go for complaints wherever you can.

agree here but unfortunately if they state it in the T&c's about recalculation etc you cant do much & its at your risk to use the bookie or no.ajeto wrote: Extremely unethical would be to change the odds after the event once the bet is already settled as a winner. I found at betexplorer and it seems that they met two days in a row. In the first game, I see the top odds of 7.00. In the second game, I see the top odds of 4:55. It was probably the game you played on as it was won by the underdog.thag wrote:Sendai 89ers - Fukushima Fire Bonds...Bookmakers 2U wrote: May I ask what game / match you bet on?

I lost less than you, but still.. they changed odds from 2,55 to 1,52!! Everything was fine with them till now. Can they really change odds after matches? It looks that I will need to start making printscreens for every arb..
